  1. I've been using TactuPump/Epiduo for the past three weeks, and it's been hell. For the first couple days, nothing really happened. My skin got a little red as expected, with some slight peeling on the corners of my nose. But then all hell broke loose when I decided to use some drugstore makeup (Revlon, to be exact) to cover up the redness. I might have gotten too drug happy as well. I foolishly thought that applying MORE medication would speed up the process (I've now realized that the inst
  2. Hi all, I am a 24 yo female who has dealt with mild acne since puberty, however, since going off birth control (Apri) in fall of 2017 my face has completely erupted. I used to get small, controlled breakouts around the time of my period on my chin or forehead, but within the last 8 months I’ve continuously broken out all over my cheeks, jawline, and chin. Obviously guessing that my acne was hormonal, I’ve tried a brief stint of spiro 100Mg a day and doxycycline prescribed to me by a d
  3. So a little bit about me first, I'm 20 (almost 21) years old and have suffered from acne since about the age of 14. I have been on birth control since the age of 15 to help with acne as well as menstrual problems. I have always had lots of blackheads on my nose, chin and forehead but never anything major. I had tried every acne wash, Proactiv, pimple creams etc and nothing ever worked for me. I had tried Doxycycline for about 18 months, which cleared up my skin and my sinus infections, but after
  4. So i thought I'd start an Accutane post since I just started taking it and I know alot of the posts I saw on here have really helped me out alot with feeling more comfortable with what to expect and what I am experiencing on the drug. I am already 5 days into the medication so my first post will sum up those five days and then I will just post when it's worth while. To start I suffered with REALLY bad acne(almost looked like open soares on my cheeks when i was 18-21 years old. Prior it was a

  6. Hi I am at the age of 19 and have had recurring cystic acne for about 4 years now. I have tried various medications, both topical and oral. During my use of doxycycline it worked great for about 6 months but then I guess I became immune to it. I am currently on 600mg (High dose) Alprim - Trimethroprim (Bactrim) but it has been about 6 weeks and my skin is only getting worse. My skin can sometimes be really dry and then extremely oily. I am considering biting the bullet and going on Accutane, I'm
