  1. To briefly summarize what I have posted in other threads: I took two course of accutane, the 1st Jr year of high school when I first got cystic acne that seemingly came out of nowhere; and the second Sr year of college. I took the 2nd course of accutane because the acne slowly but surely came back on my face and I did not have the best skin care routine for in between the accutane courses. I did not know of this site or much else on where to search for the info and thus went through so much o
  2. We all know that one kid in our class. That kid who is so annoying, never shuts up, and is always making stupid noises or something. Add on some acne and people are bound to make fun of them. November 20th, 2012 (I remember the exact date because it was right before Thanksgiving break here in the U. S.) 3rd Period, right before lunch. It was one of those unusually cold days in Florida and my friends Dillon, Bree, and I were on our way to our lockers before going to lunch. We were discussi

As an individual that doesn't deal with acne anymore and hasn't in a very long time I can probably attest to being out of the loop with the feeling of anxiety from acne in social environments. However, I've realized that when I'm meeting someone for the first time I generally don't pay much attention to the amount of acne they have. Honestly I don't really think anything about any superficial blemishes until someone points it out or references it during
  4. Hi, so normally I'm a very rational person: I don't believe in god, fate or destiny, however recently I realized something rather strange. I used to be an arrogant asshole, on top of that I've always been super vain (obsessing over minor flaws). These two things used to be my most prominent characteristics, however over time the acne completely changed me: I became a nicer person, I'm feel depressed about my skin but I don't give a single **** anymore about my other flaws. Does anyone else
  5. I have never posted before due to the fact that I am not exactly what you would consider a social butterfly.. I have been reading posts on this site for the past few months now, and well... I really just cant say enough about the amount of support and inspiration that I obtained through reading what others have shared about the exact hardship in which I too face in my everyday life... So Thank You All! With that said... I have a question, all responses welcome. Here it goes. For me anyways
