  1. Howdy, So started my low dose roaccutane journey today. I'm in the UK and have been breaking out for the last few years. Started out with a few spots on forehead and have progressed to moderate acne. Currently getting painful cysts (a couple at a time), lots of small whiteheads, a few blackheads, clogged pores and inflamed spots here and there. My spots can pop up anywhere but worst areas are forehead/nose. Started getting a very oily t-zone about a year ago. I've tried the usual menage
  2. Day 26 Hi, I thought to pass the time, I would log my accutane results. I'm starting at Day 26 but I assumed the first few weeks on accutane are similar for everyone. I'm a 22 year old male that weighs 70kg. I have had both cystic and hormonal acne persistently for years. I've tried a few other medications but lately it's been getting a lot worse so I've been prescribed 20mg accutane daily. My dermatologist wants to move me up to 40mg daily but I am going to talk with him to stay on 20mg to
  3. Hi! Brief acne history - I'm 14 almost 15 now and I've struggled with mild but persistent acne. I was on accutane for about 7-8 months and it cleared up my face completely. It came back a little, but completely manageable and not how it was before! I now have it under control with birth control and a daily face regimen. The only problem is, I have tiny, flesh colored (if i mess with them they get red), what seem to be clogged pores and bumps all around my mouth, on my chin, and by my nose area.
  4. Below is day to day log for the whole first month of Accutane. Started 03/02/16 - 40mg - Once a day Did not see any side-effects till day 6 - lips felt dry/burning & i got super thirsty. not sure if its the start of my inital breakout but i got 5 or 6 white heads & some cystic acne on my neck and they hurt.~joy~ Day7 - woke up lips were fine but did cake on the Carmex at bedtime. about 10 am lips felt a little dry / little burning. back hurts a little bit. took some ibp. still thr
  5. Finally going on Accutane (Myorisan) after years of hoping my acne would get better on its own! I am 36 years old female who seriously thought my acne would just get better as time went on, boy was I wrong! I had acne in junior high/high school but nothing severe, i would get a pimple here or there and it was usually my fault; not washing my face, touching my face with dirty hands, etc. etc. But when I got put on birth control shot Depo when i was in my late teens/early 20's that's when th
  6. Hi there, December 2011 I finished a 6 month treatment of Accutane for my face (sorry I can't recall the dosage). My acne was severe, pustule, cystic and very painful. (Can be seen below). It was always focused around my cheeks and mouth and never anywhere else. After my treatment it cleared up entirely with just obvious scaring but my face was relatively clear. December 2012 rolled by and over the Christmas holidays I broke out on my cheeks and jawline. It was a very small break ou
  7. Hello, I've come here to see if anyone knows what kind of acne i have. I suppose to get a call back from a dermatologist to set up a meeting but specialist waitlists in Canada can be long. For almost 10 years i've been fighting against acne. Its migrated all over my face from my cheeks, temples, chin, and now my forehead. I have never had suffered from chronic cysts but i occasionally will get blind pimples. Mostly now its very tiny acne's located on my forehead. I have tried almost everything a
  8. Hello I was wondering if any of you knew what i could do about my skin, I have been suffering from mild to moderate acne for the past year now. I feel as though I've tried so many things and nothing seems to work for me. I don't think my acne is bad enough for anything like accutane, but what do you guys think? Also in the pictures my acne is currently in one of its better phases, but I'm sure it'll break out more in a few days just as I'm beginning to believe as always.
