    W A I T

I find a lot of joy in writing these motivational messages. They have gotten some views, so I hope that I have impacted people with my words. My words are all genuine. I want people to be happy. I know what it feels like to have swollen cheeks with deep cysts dwelling underneath my skin. I have felt the dread of not knowing when my face would ever look normal again. I know what it feels like to not want to leave the bathroom after you wash all the makeup off. What I did about it is what ma
  2. The first week I noticed a lot of the common side effects. Hoping it would help my PCOS like symptoms such as the excessive hair and mild/moderate acne right away, however, it did not. Which I knew, I just secretly wished I would be the rare case where I all of a sudden saw improvements. I experienced excessive thirst, insomnia, not too bad but in the middle of the night I would wake up for a good two hours not being able to go back to sleep. Thankfully netflix helped me with that issue. I also
  3. So this morning means it has almost been a full week since I started The Regimen and I started using basic washes I have at home (But acne.org stuff came this morning): Wash: BeautiControl wash (lotion) BP: BeautiControl spot treatment with 2% BP Moisturizer: Meleluca Renew & BeautiControl Overnight lotion I have also done 3 facials in between: 1.) Sea Salt hot press followed by Black tea bag (this on my cystic acne: worked like a charm) done on clean skin. 2.) a Honey mask a couple
  4. I just wanted to give you all my 6 month update....I know, that's a long time to be on The Regimen, hoping it works. Well, I think I can comfortably say that it did. I still get a couple of little breakouts here and there, but overall, it cleared my skin. What you are seeing in these pictures is all hyperpigmentation and scarring. I have to be honest and say that while I'm ecstatic about how my skin is pretty much clear now, the scarring and post-acne red marks (that apparently always fade but c

    6 Months In...

Hello, Its been a while since I put up a blog or even been on the site since I started the Regimen. When I first started my skin was incredibly bad, like ugly raw skin bad. I guess it gets worst before it gets better. That's what my friend told me who recommended me this treatment. I'm not going to lie that whole month I felt ugly. I couldn't wear makeup, I couldn't be in the sun, and I even couldn't go out to do family stuff. I felt ugly because during the regimen I broke out so bad,
  6. Going to try to make it as simple as possible... I've been needling for around 8 months - year for a total of around 8 treatments. Though I wouldn't count the first 3-5 as successful treatments because I didn't have pinpoint bleeding and I wasn't very experienced. Although improvement in hyper pigmentation and a bit in the actual indentations was still be able to be seen... The recent 3 I would call more of successful treatments, as they have been combined with a 2.0m Dermastamp, Leds, Retin a
  7. Hi, I don't know if this topic has been brought up before but I didn't find it. To all of those who have had Acne and got rid of it, even if it's just for a short period of time and then it came back, what did it feel like for you? Was it as good as you hoped? Was there anything unexpected you felt? Was it worth everything you went through or did you just move on the the next issue in your life? I haven't got rid of my skin issues yet so I wonder what it would be like if I did?
  8. Day 13 and overall things have been great. Yesterday however, I messed with a cystic pimple on my left cheek. Not a proud moment of mine. I need to learn to be more patient. Thankfully, I stopped sooner then I usually do. I tried to remedy my mistake with a Honey mask (with cinnamon) and I managed to leave it on for 30 minutes. This morning it came to a head but it is red and scabbed now. (i know it could have been worse had I messed with it more) HOWEVER!!!! This morning my hubby comm
  9. Hello Acne.org and hello fellow acne sufferers! I haven't been on this site in years. But....... The 100% cure for acne is....well....a mystery. I'm sorry to say that. It is. I have however....found my OWN personal....that's right, PERSONAL remedy for this self-esteem killing ailment. Unfortunately we are not all carbon copies of one another. That would make things much easier. So Here is what i do: Very abbreviated cause this could be ten pages What i do.....is not scient
  10. So I just finished my second week of Mononessa. I'd say that my chin and cheeks feel better - much less bumpy, but they do not look better at all. They are all covered with red marks. I mean really, really red in a well-lit room. Thank goodness my room never gets any direct sunlight, otherwise I wouldn't be able to look myself in the mirror during the day anymore. My face still looks depressing though, I guess partly because some of those cysts had just started to subside. I added benzoyl per
