  1. From the album: My Mini Acne Journey

I've dealed with acne since I was 12 or 13 years old. I am now almost 21. Had a bad case my sophomore year and then it calmed down. After it became a steady battle with mild to moderate acne. My skin also scars extremely easy, so that was challenging. But by the end of 2013 and very beginning of this year, my skin was great! I had very little scarring and I rarely broke out. I felt like I was finally growing out of my acne phase and that it wouldn't strike me again. Man was I wrong. This
  2. Hey, I just wanted to let you guys know I tried the Olay cleansing wipe fo sensitive skin, they are fragrance free, and meet Dan's requirements for a cleanser. I know he does reccommend using a washcloth but i use them very gently and the wipes don't have thsoe scrubbing things that a lot do, and I don't use them very often maybe a few times a month, so if anyone is looking for a great wipe this one has worked for me! Great for travel or for you gym bag. Hope this was helpful.

    Day 41!

So im like really starting to clear up now. My skin is flaky and my lips are peeling and its gross because my friend actually said something about it to me. I use lots of lip balm too. I use a stereroid lip balm 3-4 times a week as directed by my dermatologist. It only seems to help when its actually on my lips. I only have a few very small zits on my face. There are alot of red marks though and they will take time to heal. I use the Olay Pro-X cleansing brush and I think it works better t
  4. I've been on the regimen since March, and had success with my acne, but I've always had terrible flaking. In July I moved down to Bp only at night, as Dans aha wasn't helping with the dryness. I haven't had any problems with dryness since then, but as a result I break out pretty badly even in minimal sun exposure, or when I don't wear sunscreen on a cloudy day. Sunscreen only lasts for 2 hours and often I don't have the chance to reapply before doing something. Why am I so prone to breakouts in
  5. Edit: read the last post if you want to see what has finally worked for me! Link for pictures too. After being in very low spirits about my skin, I researched the Internet for what seems like half the day yesterday. While reading over a post on acne.org, labeled, "The bad list", I realized the natural organic crap I've been using as a face wash, contained 2 comedogenic ingredients, at the top of the ingredients list. smh. What was I thinking?! Instead of sulking, I tried really hard to
  6. Hello again! I've been reading a lot of reviews and statements on blogs on OLAY Regenerist Cream Cleanser. But a lot of them say "the black tubed one" helped them with their acne and scarring. This one right here: LINK: So what is the difference between that one and this one [other than the size of the tube and probably that that one had been discontinued] LINK: I just want to know if one is better than the other because although the 2nd link has some wonderful reviews, I did noti
  7. Recently we tried 6 more cleansers, hoping to find more foaming yet gentle liquid cleanser options for everyone. As usual, most failed miserably, but one of them came out on top: Olay Foaming Face Wash (Sensitive). It comes in a 7oz. tube and a 6.8oz. bottle with identical product inside. It lathers well--just be sure to mix in an adequate amount of water to get a good lather going--and is unscented. Unfortunately, it's not perfect because it contains sodium laureth sulfate, but it is the 11th
  8. I've been on regimen for 6 months now, and i moved down to Bp only at night about 2 months ago, and from that time on I've gotten horrible breakouts in the sunlight - even on cloudy days. I'm positive that my breakouts are uv related and not something else. I use Olay moisturizer with SPF 15 in the morning, and neotrogena clear skin SPF 30 sunscreen when I need to reapply throughout the day, but these only last for a few hours. Is there a solution to this problem?
  9. Hi, I'm travelling this summer so I need to get some sun cream for my face that won't cause me to break out. I'm in the UK (but don't mind paying shipping through amazon or something), so it's not a problem at all when I'm here and I really have no idea where to start. I am looking for something that I will use just on my FACE. I only have acne on my face, everywhere else I will use normal sun block. I think I need SPF 20+. I am going to be on holiday and therefore on the beach/out in the hot
  10. Hi, has anyone here used Olay Regenerist Elixir? The one with Glycolic Acid? I want to try it as an alternative to Dan's AHA. How is it? Does it cause breakout? Is it effective in removing PIH? You see, i'm from the Philippines and acne.org doesn't ship here for some strange whatever reason, but i found a way on how to order the products and get it delivered here. But the shipping cost is insane, almost the same price of the products i'm going to get from this site, very pricey. That's why i
