  1. So i was clear for 1 week about 3 weeks ago. I had stopped taking accutane after being on it for 6 months 5 weeks ago. I didn't actually finish the treatment. My skin was dry up until recently. I used to have severe acne back in febuary but i cured myself mostly through the gut diet and accutane, Im on the 3rd month of the gut diet now. I started eating fermented dairy again when i started the diet as it was a good source of probiotics. Because of this consumption of probiotics in the form of m
  2. Finally, decided to create my own topic! xD Took time to write a report so i'll just ctrl c + ctrl v here! Hey guys! New user here I'm from brazil,18 years male, and my name is Bruno, pleasure to meet you all! Started my accutane treatment last month(15/03/2014) with 20mg daily after being unsucessful with clindoxyl and differin,BUT,my real problem is my face oiliness...and some mild back acne(mostly 'old pimples' who left mark, not actives)I just can't go out for more than 45 mins after m
  3. Hey, I suffered from moderate acne couple years back, I'm glad to say my face has somewhat healed from it now but left from shallow marks and redness from squeezing ( I know it is bad but I was young and got habit of popping my pimples.) Right now I still have oily skin ( especially nose + forehead ), and couple of those really tiny bumps that are un-inflamed. Some areas on my cheeks will get red now and then. Overall, still manageable but everyone aims for perfection, isnt it? I j
  4. Quick question for those who read this thread (or are being a night-owl like I am and perusing the forums ); how long has it taken for some of you former Accutane users to get oil-production back in your skin? My dermatologist told me sebum production would return after one month of being off the drug, but I have yet to see any actual oil. I've been off Accutane since May 27th. Here's my thread that I continue to update; I don't miss the oil spill that I used to have coming out of my por

Side Effects of Benzoyl Peroxide Benzoyl Peroxide Can Prevent Antibiotic Resistance What Is Benzoyl Peroxide? Benzoyl peroxide is a white, grainy/powdery substance that has been used in several industries since the early 20th century. 6. I'd like to hear from anyone who used Argan oil and found that it decreased your skin's overall oiliness. My questions are as follows: 1) What Argan oil brand did/do you use? 2) Assuming that you applied it all over your face, did you experience any unwanted side effects for a time--e.g., increased breakouts or increased inflammation of existing breakouts? 3) How often did you apply it--once or twice daily, or did you use it even less frequently? 4) Did you notice any other benefits from a
  7. hey guys! have you ever used african black soap and would you recommend this for oiliness and acne? and does it really cause purging? thanks!
  8. I have suffered from acne since I was 16. I was on Tazorac Cream 0.1% for 4.5 years. I am now 22 and I was switched to Tazorac Gel 0.1% back in October 2015. I still have a nose covered in blackheads and a forehead covered in close comedones and I break out frequently. It is mentally exhausting to deal with the constantly changing state of my skin to be honest. My skin looks as if I always have a sunburn but its worse because the color is blotchy and uneven looking to top it off. Sometimes I wi
