  1. Hi guys! I'm new here and this is my first post so go easy on me! So basically I'm 16 and have had moderate acne for nearly two years now. I have been to the doctor and they prescribed differin and duac once daily which didn't really help a whole lot especially as I have oily skin and when I apply these overnight they can't dry my skin because of how oily it gets. Having said that they still keep the acne at bay reasonably well. (I also used a Nivea charcoal face wash morning and night). My oi
  2. Hi, although i'm new to the forum i've been following for over a year and i've finally decided to post. My acne is mild most of the time though sometimes it can become pretty moderate for a period. I've managed to clear it before using a light cleanser and jojoba oil in the evening only but i'm always looking to simplify my regimen so i dont have to go to bed with oil all over my face and keep such a strict skincare regimen. My skin used to be really oily and i never used a moisturiser after

My family does not have a history of acne problems,
  4. After concluding that nothing is ever going to seemingly work especially in the long run, I'm taking a new approach. I'm going to finish my course of lymecycline (2 more months to go with still no signs of improvement) and stop, but starting now I've taken this approach. I'm currently 2 days into not washing my face (primarily known as the "caveman regimen"). At all. Even with water. I decided to start this when I discussed my anxiety about my skin with my friend (who has amazingly soft skin

    Time To Start!

Today is the day I officially started trying to clear my acne without the use of harsh chemicals! My methods? A diet that achieves the 10 serving recommendation for fruits and vegetables (5 servings for each) and not washing my face! What?? Not washing my face? Yeah, it'll feel weird, I know, what with my oily face and all. However, I've read quite a few success stories in the forums, and I thought I'll give it a try. If it works, that would be fantastic! I won't abstain from washing my face for
