  1. Hi acne.org community, Seeing as I've been using acne.org regimen products for the past few months I've thought it appropriate to register here and share my spots of bother... ahaha... I've been acne prone since I was 13 and now I'm 17, and the severity has worsened. Proactiv did work for me until about two years ago, and that's when I had to take a different approach. So far acne.org's BP treatment in conjunction with the AHA+ (which I've been using for just a week) has really helped ta
  2. So, I have terrible acne. I have tried so many products, and nothing works for me. I decided to tray BCP because I'm really desperate. However, as I was browsing the Net for reviews and possible BCP side effects, I came across a video on YouTube about a regimen that she tried because it was recommended to her through a video response. After watching the video, I came across this site. So now, I'm going to follow The Regimen by using alternative products because honestly, if I will have
  3. Hi has anybody tried Vaseline sandalwood or vitamin e (bio oil) for your face? Has it helped? I'm a bit apprehensive about putting bio oil on my face because my face is already so oily and I don't wanna break out but at the same tins I've heard vitamin e is very good. Please help. Thank you!!!
  4. Hi everyone! I haven't tried this product yet but I'm going to get it soon. I was just wondering if this is too harsh if your skin is not VERY VERY bad? And also does it close your pores and remove whiteheads and blackheads? Does your skin peel really badly? I'm so excited to try this regimen but at the same time I want to be realistic and prepare myself. Thank you!!!
  5. I have finally decided to take the steps toward clearing up my mild/moderate acne as well as some scarring that I have. I went to see my derm. yesterday and he prescribed clindamycin, both the pill and the gel. I heard that it dries out the skin so I wanted to know what would be an appropriate regimen while I am on this medication. I currently use clean & clear morning burst facial cleanser which I might stop using while on this medicine because it has fragrance in it as well as other things
  6. Hey guys, I am new to this forums so I truly apologize if I say anything repetitive or just really dumb lol. I'm a male performer and my job requires a lot of picture taking. I rarely ever use makeup because I have been blessed with relatively clear and even-toned skin (I am of Indian decent and in my early 20's). However, recently, I have been having acne for the first time in my life. It is not small pimples scattered all over my face but rather sporadic large pimples. They usually go aw
  7. Hi everyone, I'm new to the Regimen and I have a few questions that I'm hoping some of you that are more familiar with the Regimen can help me with! A little history about my skin and previous products: I'm 21 years old. I initially started the Regimen last year after seeing the results of my best friend, who recommended I start it. I had never really had acne prior to this point, but since I spent the entire Spring and Summer in Toronto in a really hot climate, I had bumps all over
  8. Hello! This is day eight of accutane. I've had moderate to severe acne for four years now, ad have been on all the brand name AND generic topicals and antibiotics. I used everything from the expensive skincare line PCA, costcos proactiv genric and the drugstore clearasil gels. Then I waited a year. The result of waiting? A terrible, huge 5 month break out on both my cheeks following the cheekbone. Dark red, deep and painful nodules that are starting to clear a little bit on accutane. I st
  9. Hello everyone. I’m just 1 week inside the regimen and it’s been working great, however i have some questions. I was already doing a treatment with adapalene, so i’ve started with mid finger length already, and 3 days after went full finger length. I’m doing the regimen twice a day, in the morning and before sleep. This first week was okay because i didn’t had to leave my house for anything at all, so i wasn’t worried about the sun (i live in Brasil). However, the following weeks i’m gonna need
  10. Hi there! I'm 26, have dealt with acne for most of my teen/adult life, and only recently discovered this website. My acne has been mild-moderate for the most part. I thought it was bad during my teens and early 20s, but it really only got "bad" in my mid-20s (around age 22). Anyway, I'm getting married in May and would really like to have clear skin for the big day. My skin has been such crap over the past few months (despite going gluten free and getting my thyroid hormones in check),
  11. Hey everyone, So I'm new to this community here mainly because I need people to talk to about my problem of picking. I'm not a chronic picker but I do it occasionally and it really affects me emotionally. In fact, I just picked about 20 minutes ago. I feel like bursting into tears right now because I've been trying for so long to stop doing this to my skin. I feel like I'm disrespecting myself even though the picking seems to be so automatic everytime I see a mirror and have time to

    Day 1-3

After a 'spot of bother' (pardon the pun, of course) obtaining my prescription via a very well known highstreet chain (it took 9 working days to get it!) I was hesitant to begin my tablets the day before a big social event. I held off until the Saturday morning and then (with a hearty full English in my belly) took the first 2 20mg pills with a big glass of water and my 'usual' dose of sertraline. Yes, as covered in my 'about me' I am on an anti-depressant, not a high dosage and basically as
  13. Hi. I came across this site recently, and after doing some research, I decided to try out The Regimen. I've ordered the acne.org products yesterday and I'm waiting for them to arrive. I've read about how important it is to follow The Regimen precisely, but I'm wondering if I can use less moisturizer because I have oily skin, and I've never used a moisturizer on my face before. If I use a lesser amount of the cleanser and moisturizer than what was suggested, will The Regimen still work? Two full
