Hey guys, Well heres my situation: I never really had acne until last fall (My sophmore year), when I just fell into bad habit of not cleaning my face and getting the bacteria and sweat out of my football helmet which caused a moderate breakout that scarred on the both cheeks. After that it got pretty bad into the winter so I went to my dermatologist and she gave me a fading cream regiment (erythromycin in morning and night, and tretinoin .0025 at night), which seemed to work pretty well. I am kind of bummed because I am on spring break from college right now. I am hiding in my apartment because of how bad my skin looks. I am too embarrased for my friends to see how bad my skin looks without makeup....so no pool time or beach time for me this spring break. So I finally decided to go to a new dermatologist last Thursday. My last one kept prescribing me stuff that either dried my skin out too much, burned it or gave me a allergic reaction. or maybe just giving myself a one year break. its really hard for me to picture myself seeing patients with bad acne. i know we dont judge because we suffer from acne ourselves, but i know regular ppl do. i dont know how patients are going to preceive me, and maybe think i dont belong there cause i have some kind of disease. :-/ do you guys think iam thinking to drastically??
