  1. Has anyone experienced this using the Caveman Regime before? Background.. I was on Accutane twice when I was a teenager.. Cleared my skin up beautifully. Since having kids I began breaking out again on and off... (hormonal) Since I stopped nursing the breakouts returned but I had them under control a natural regime of gentle natural cleanser, diluted apple cider vinegar toner and tea tree oil as a spot treatment. Recently I decided I was done being a prisoner to all these remedies and felt like
  2. I’m 16 years old and I’ve had cystic acne, acne, blackheads and whiteheads for the past 3 years. It’s left my skin a bit dull looking and full of hyperpigmentation. (Also I should say, I drink enough water, I don’t eat diary, and I exersice 5 times a week. My diet/lifestyle is not the cause.) Last year I discovered that if I double cleanse with coconut oil my cystic acne and most of my little pimples disappear completely. I did that for 2-3 months until I had to travel for a week and I couldnt
  3. Hi, I've been doing the oil cleanse method for 3 weeks now and I've noticed the acne on my forehead is getting worse and worse. I don't know if my skin is purging or if it is breaking out so I'm not sure whether to try something else or stick with it? But this is definitely the worst my acne has been. The acne on my cheeks does seem to be a little better though but my forehead is like 5X worse. I'm thinking of trying African Black Soap. Any advice? Should I carry on? Is this purging or are my po
  4. Hi there! I went off The Regimen in January of this year (2013) to give a particular natural skincare site out there a try. I was experiencing dryness and redness with the regimen after having had excellent success with it starting back in 2009---I mean, we're talking *excellent*. The Regimen cleared me up by about 99% (as you can see in that photo I posted; no make-up; just a little eyeliner!) and only less when/if I was not religious about doing it properly. I have had cystic acne since I wa

Hey guys! Okay, I know it's been inexcusably long since I updated y'all on my face, mostly because it's been sort of up and down. For a while I had almost nothing to report, my skin has been clearing up pretty steadily, but now it is the week before mother nature's unwelcome gift, so my skin has been acting up more. I've been trying to eat really healthy and stick to my routine really strictly, but it really frustrates me how no matter what I seem to try, I still get mild acne, and some inflamed
  6. Hi all! This is my first post in this forum. I've recently just quit The DK Regimen, and I'm not bashing it because it really did kill my acne, but my skin never really got used to it. A really horrible reaction caused me to throw in the towel. After much trial and error with more topicals than I can count and an incomplete course of Accutane (I was not an ideal candidate because of the medications I take for bipolar disorder) I've decided to really look deeper into my body and give the nat
  7. Hi Guys, I'm looking for skin care products. I have used benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid products in the past and my skin does not like harsh ingredients. So if anyone can recommend some good gentle cleansers, without irritating ingredients, that would be awesome. I wanted to post this here because I am very open to using natural products, I'd prefer that even. So if you've had some success with anything then I'd love to know. I've also been noticing some dented scarring o
  8. Hi! So I've posted on here once before talking about how I "cured" my acne (or so I thought) with the following skincare routine: Burts Bees peach scrub, Diluted Apple Cider Vinegar toner, Go Green serum by Mojo Spa (Chicago local), and the Origins Ginzing mouisturizer. While I had no big red angry spots while I was using this routine, my skin texture was terrible. My cheeks were super bumpy and if you caught me in the wrong light it was really bad. I decided it was because I was over exfoliatin
  9. Hi everyone, I've been using this website for about 12 years now without posting. However, having finally managed to keep my skin clear for about 6 months now (which is incredible for me) I thought I would share what has worked for me in the hope it could help someone else. As a little background, I started suffering from acne when I was 18 (I'm 30 now) and it was pretty bad. I was eventually prescribed Dianette, which cleared my skin amazingly, but has some pretty scary side effects. I then
