  1. Hey all, I thought it was about time that I come back from my 4 year hiatus and share what has worked for me over years and years of trial and error; but first, a little history. I joined this community back in 2005 in a desperate bid to get my acne under control. Like any newbie, I started out in the general forums and would guinea pig OTC products under the assumption that acne could be cured through topical means. I tried all the big brand names like Proactiv and Neutrogena. I tried f
  2. There has been a lot of talk online about MSM and how it is supposedly beneficial to people with acne or acne scars. For example, a lot of people have posted rave reviews on websites like Amazon saying that it really helped. There are people however, that say it either breaks them out in new acne or has no impact when it comes to acne scarring and dismiss it as just being another “snake oil”. One of the main problems is that there is seemingly no clear understanding as to what circumstances MS
  3. Hi all. I came up with a concoction in my bathroom which is greatly helping my face in its healing process, and it doesnt break me out. I started with a natural moisturizer which has essential oils in it. I found that essential oils help lubricate my skin and not only plump it up but helps stop it from making more oil and helps my scars heal. Moisturizer - http://m.beautyheaven.com.au/skin-care/moisturisers/38711-natural-instinct-daily-moisturiser So, i put a dollop of this in my hand. Next
  4. For years now I have had a little bit of scaring on both my cheeks. I have a few scars that are a cross between ice pick and box. They aren't too deep because I can see the bottom of the scar and stuff, but still deep enough and big enough to notice.I keep reading things about msm cream and it helping acne scars. I was curious if anyone has experience with trying msm and it either helped them or didn't?
  5. Chase your CoQ10 capsules on an empty stomach, :30 before breakfast and before bed at least two hours after eating, with this cocktail: 1) a scoop of collagen powder 2) 1/2 tsp MSM powder 3) 1 tsp of tumeric (I use tumeric and sandalwood) **4) optional- for stress- open a capsule of GABA and mix in, skip the coffee it's bad for your skin!!** 8 oz of water CoQ10 is more bioavailable when taken with MSM- this is an integral part of the famous Perricone Prescription.
  6. Hello. Hope everybody gets to read this and contributes to your healing. This is my 2 year journey on doing research on how to heal my KP, ADHD, Back and Neck Acne, Seborrheic dermatitis on face, Dandruff, Intestinal issues like Heart burn, Bloating, Constipation, oh yes and also Insomnia. This are all the cures I have found that have worked for me and some people, I specified which ones worked for me and which ones have worked for others. Remember we are all different but the root cause may be
  7. Hey everyone! So this is my first post on the boards, so nice to meet everyone I'm on day 5 of the drug that hopefully will do what no other treatment has been able to do for my skin thus far. I have tried doxy, mino, and bactrim (all with retinoids) and each one has failed. I have also tried the regenlite laser, which cost me $600 and made my skin much worse. Currently, I am 18 years old and a college freshman who is desperately wanting clear skin. First off, I do know that accut
  8. Hello all, So I have had mild acne for a while , but in the past couple of months my skin has been getting worse, maybe from the fact I moved to Dubai from Canada and the huge climate change. A fellow Canadian I know here told me to start taking MSM pills. I have been taking them for probably a week and a half now so I know that may be to short of time to notice a difference. However recently probably in the last week my problem area (chin) has been breaking out really bad even with taking th

    Scar Faders!

Okay, so my cystic flax seed breakout has gotten better, and I really don't want to have scars when I am going to the caribbean in a week! So, I have done some research and: massaging is good for scars because it promotes healing http://www.naturaltherapypages.co.uk/article/Scar_Massage MSM mixed with real fresh squeezed lemon juice, works as a little mini peal and MSM is great for promoting healing http://www.silvermedicine.org/msm-natural-sulphur.html I will updateeee
  10. Just got my MSM cream last week and been using it on places where I have done TCA cross and 1mm dermarolling. Never had much success with dermarolling otherwise but since starting to use this cream it looks like my scars are filling up fast. I read on another post about a person who used it on his/hers acne scars saying they filled a crater up. I didn't buy it honestly it sounded too good to be true. Anyway I bought it cause it couldn't make the scars worse at least. After some days of applying
