  1. Hey y’all, ive had acne my whole life. It’s genetic. The earliest memories I have of my mom is her gouging plugs from her face and by the time I was 13 I was doing the same. My skin has improved from birth control pills, but due to harsh side effects I had to stop. retinol has been very helpful, but I still have flare ups! My issue is the type of acne I have. My pores produce HUGE sebaceous filaments that get inflamed. After a shower I will use a black head remover and the hugest plug
  2. Hey guys, This is my first ever post on here, but I've followed the forum for awhile. So I've had acne roughly since fall of 2009 when I was 16. Before that I had completely clear skin... literally never one blemish so I guess I was a late bloomer. Also, I hit puberty later than most of my friends. It probably peaked in severity in 2012-eary 2013 when I was a senior in high school and freshman in college. In January of 2013 I went to the dermatologist for the first time and got Epiduo,
  3. Hi. My name it Tyler. I'm a 22 year old male and have suffered from acne since I was ~16. At first my acne consisted of cysts, about 1 every month, along with your typical white head and nodular acne. It was never severe but it was always persistent and enough to where someone would be like "hey this kid doesn't have a clear face". So I took all your standard antibiotics and tried all the standard topicals and nothing worked; I was miserable. So at age 19 I went on accutane. One of the best
  4. I've had stubborn acne around mouth and face for over 2 years now and have found basically the cure for me. Felt like I should spread the knowledge because I know there are many people out there that use salyilic acid, benzoyl peroxide and AHA alone and think that they don't work. They all need to be used together. 3 products total. Use IN THAT ORDER. Twice a day. changed my life, finally clearing this acne... -Murad AHA/BHA face wash. -2.5% benzoyl peroxide -cetaphil moisturizer Best o
  5. Ive had this red bump on the corner of my mouth for over a month now. (i also get it on the opposite top corner but not as large) ive put 10% benzoyl on it, Apple cider vinegar(topically and orally), Tea Tree oil, and nothing seems to bring it down. it gets very red and is really killing my self confidence. I dont think its herpes because it doesn't seem to be a cluster or have ever scabbed, or look yellow. (but who would want to believe they have herpes) As you can see the majority of my a
