  1. INTRODUCTION Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a glycosaminoglycan composed of alternating D-glucuronic acid and N-acetyl- D-glucosamine monosaccharide residue. These are cross-linked to form long unbranched chains, which form an anionic biopolymer. The 3-dimensional structure forms a space-occupying molecule, and the chemical makeup draws a large volume of water to the compound. Due to its combination of properties, endogenous HA contributes turgor and elasticity to the dermis. Hyaluronic aci
  2. I've ordered the AHA+ cream from acne.org to start the regimen and I chose to order that instead of the other regular cream because I have red scarring and hoped that would help. But now I'm second guessing my decision. Do you use the AHA cream as your regular cream? Or should it be used sparingly? If it's sparing, how often do you use it?
  3. For anyone struggling to find a non comedogenic moisturiser have a look at this one. I've just ordered it, I haven't tried it yet so I have no idea what its like but it seems like the only one out there with not really any comedogenic ingredients at all, and ive been searching for hours. Sebamed - Clear Face Care Gel Ingredients: Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Sorbitol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Pantenol, Allantoin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Gel, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Carbomer, Sodium Citrate.

  6. Hey so I took Accutane for about 5 months, 3 years ago and since then my skin, hair, mouth, everything has been extremely dry. So dry that I pretty much lost my sense of smell and feeling in my nose most likely because the oil glands in there aren't secreting. My question is, can I expect for this to go away eventually? will my body be secreting moisture ever again? Will my body return to normal? and if so, when? some background info: 17 Y/O Male live in Colorado (dry climate) about 150 poun
  7. Do any of you have extremely sensitive skin? My skin has such a hard time tolerating any moisturizer I've ever used for it.. even the stuff designed for sensitive skin without dyes, fragrances, ect. Even natural oils like jojoba and olive seem to irritate my skin, its weird. I have a derm appointment in 2 weeks, I just wanted to know in the meantime if any of you can relate... or have found something that works for you! (:

    Jojoba Oil Timing

Hi, I'm pretty new to the Regimen; I've been following it faithfully for a bit over a week now. In the very beginning I had a pretty gross purge all over my chin -- oooooof -- but I'm pretty sure it was partially caused by my idiocy; I didn't read every step of the direction and PILED BP onto my face for the first few days, so the flaking was pretty awful - my mistake! My dryness/flakiness isn't the worst now, but I do get a good amount of stinging, tightness, and redness in addition to some
  9. Hi Everyone, I have been using the acne.org regimen for about 3 weeks, minus the moisturizer. I would like to try the acne.org AHA+ to help with clogged pores, red marks and to help with moisturizing. Has anyone tried this? What are your experiences with using it? Thanks!
