    Day 6

Hey guys! Welcome to my blog. So basically, this blog is about the topical acne product called Tactuo (Epiduo in the United States) and how my face reacts/adjusts to it. I've read plenty of reviews on the product and only 2 blogs from people who have recorded their daily progress on the product, and so I've decided to do the same! I'll be writing new entries daily-weekly on my experiences with Tactuo/Epiduo [on my face] and hopefully my they will help those who are either considering us
  2. Started getting moderate acne - cheeks full of papules and pustules at 15. Had a good run (mild acne everyday, plenty of PIH anyway) from 19-21 thanks to Tretinoin. Until the stress of senior year, the MCAT, uncertainty about the future, money, conflict with parents, and my little sister's self-injury coming to light have brought acne back this year with a vengeance unknown to me...both my cheeks are completely covered in papules and pustules, a painful nodular cyst is growing under a pustule on
  3. Hey guys I could really use some advice. I am 16, female and have been struggling with mild to moderate acne for a few years now. Last year, in 3 months, epiduo and doxycycline cleared my skin beautifully. Then November 2014 it started to wear off so I went to the derm and she prescribed 100 mg minocycline every night along with nightly use of ziana gel. It is now January 2015. I have been on this regimen for 3 months and have seen little improvement. Sometimes I have good weeks, but I almost al
  4. INVITING YOU TO MY JOURNEY WITH ACCUTANE...I AM 32 YEARS OLD WITH MODEREATE ACNE STARTED OUT WITH SEVERE ACNE AND THROUGH TACKLING WITH ALL THE CREAMS AND 3 STEP SYSTEMS OUT THERE I JUST CANNOT GET RID OF IT. TRUTH IS TO GET TO THE MODERATE STAGE THAT I AM IN NOW I JUST STOPPED WITH ALL THE CREAMS AND ANTIBOITICS. I WENT STRICTLY CLEANSING MY FACE WITH CETEPHIL DAILY CLEANSER AND MOIS

    Late Update!

Okay, sorry for the late update you guys! Okay, not late per se but I know that I had said that I would do an entry 2 days ago/yesterday but unfortunately didn't have the time to do it. But, here it is! So, these photos were taken just a few days ago, on April 14. As you can see my forehead is basically covered in red, inflamed pimples and if you can look closely there are some whiteheads shown as well. My face has been extremely oily, and that is one of the side affects of this cream
  6. Hi guys, so yesterday was my first day of taking Accutane or Roaccutane as we call it in Europe. My dermatologist prescribed me only 10mg of Accutane daily, so i decided to do weekly logs, not only because I noticed that not many people get such a low dose as 10mg daily, but also for me to note the progress. I will be taking Accutane for 6 to 8 months with possible increase of the dosage to 20mg daily after the first month. My dermatologist said 20mg is maximum that she'll ever give me. Just
  7. Help I'm new to this and I need opinions! Since about January my face has been breaking out in these small bumps that go down during the day in sunlight, and come back up during the night indoors. I can't pop them, and sometimes they blister and turn into huge pimples. Is this milia or mild acne? I have a dermatologist appointment on September the 4th but I don't want to be prescribed tazorac again because it just doesn't help my skin. I want to go into my appointment with a little bit of knowl
  8. Hello all, I was just wondering if any of you had any suggestions on what I can do to deal with my persistent acne. *picture attached Some background about me: - On accutane for 6 months, was clear for 5 months. - Currently on tazorac .1%. I have been on taz for about 11 months. - Diet -- Eat rice 5x a week -- Drink 10 glasses of water a day -- I don't eat sweets - I'm currently using cetaphil cleanser and cerave moisturizer. I just feel miserable right now and have n
  9. Hello everyone! I am new to this website and I decided to start a topic of my own because I noticed there is not a similar one to mine. I am 20 years old and I study abroad in China.Since April my skin broke out horribly!Maybe its due to going off birth control pills or stress I really don't know. Also, the weather where I am right now is very humid and hot.Anyway, last year I had the same problem at the same time,I went to a dermatologist here and was pretty scared because I didn't know what to
