  1. This thread will go thru my journey as I get my scar treatment. I plan on getting mixto with subcision with dr David rahimi. I am quite young only 18 so I figured why not get my treatment when my scars and I are young. Any my questions you have I will answer. I will post pictures of my scars once most people join in on the thread. But right now my scars are mild not super mild but not yet moderate more in the middle. I have mostly box car scars with a couple ice pick and about one your two

Does anyone call BS on these? I can't make up my mind. I don't know how many treatments he had but the website said it was the Mixto laser. Thanks for your input!
  3. Hello everybody, Just wanted to share my current experiences with fractional laser, treating rolling scars left by moderate/cystic acne. So far I've done 4 Fraxel Re:store procedures on an affected area on a right cheek (added the "before" picture). The procedures were a bit painful, but as I have high pain tolerance, it was no big deal for me. The downtime was short and I was actually going to work the very same day I got my fraxel done, since the slight throbbing/burning sensation didn't bo
  4. Hi All, I've been lurking in these forum posts for a few years now but have decided to make an account to make my first post. What prompted me to create a new account is my severe acne scarring and finally wanting to do something about it. Trust me - it's pretty severe. There's no BDD misconception here and the information that I gained lurking these forums is that only Co2 ablative treatments can help (maybe subcision/suction for the really deep ones). I have a combination of boxcars, rolling
  5. I'm not exactly sure what kind of scars I have. I see rolling, boxcar, as well as ice pick. Just want to make sure. They seem to be moderate to shallow. Also, what's the best treatment for these scars? I'm thinking it's laser. I shot these in the harshest light and at the worst angle possible. Thanks in advance! This is in sunlight after dermarolling. My fasce in sunlight after moisturizing. My face in normal light. As you can see, it's very shallow in regular ligh
  6. I've been looking into finding doctors who can combine subcision and laser. I've heard good things about this combination. I found someone in Charlotte, NC who will combine subcision with Fraxel Restore. The subcision is crazy cheap, the laser is up the butt expensive. I was told it would be around $150 (subcision) + $850 (Fraxel:Restore on cheeks only) = $1,000, or $150 (subcision) + $1,000 (full face Restore) for $1,150. I also found a place in Virginia that offers Mixto laser for
  7. I tried it. I think im done throwing money away. It's was the most uncomfortable, physical experience I've ever had. I'm a 30 year old male that has gone through a lot and I wouldn't go thru pain like that again without a sedative. it has been 3 weeks and I know it made my scars worse. I think this treatment is for old women that want to get rid of superficial lines. I think about treatments with hope and I lose my logic. I think about treatments with logic and I lose hope. Oh well. I wish I cou
  8. What kind of scars are these? Will mixto help me at all? I plan on having two treatments of mixto laser done which is an ablative co2 laser with dr. David rahimi. I also plan on having a treatement of subscision. Thanks for helping!
