  1. I was considering posting daily pictures but I thought it would be more effective if I shared them weekly- that way if there's any form of improvement it'll probably be more noticeable. Besides, there's probably only so many shots of my flaky, red chin that a human can handle! I'm not going to photograph the acne on my forehead either because the pimples are small, closed comedones, which I can deal with in comparison to my hot mess of a jawline! Yesterday evening I came home to see that th
  2. I have always have acne that I used to consider to be moderate acne, but recently I broke out unlike ever before. I'm scared that I have some sort of infection like staph, MRSA, or a fungal infection. The breakout has been on my left cheek for about a month now, but it seems to be spreading to my chin. It has spread from a small spot on my jawline and gone all up and down. It hurts, almost stings, and itches really bad at points. Tylenol/Advil really helps the inflammation as well as applying he

I haven't had a major issue of scarring since starting the medication. Unless I pop/squeeze a spot myself, generally my spots do not leave long lasting scars. They disappear soon after. That is until around 5 months ago. Now, every spot on my face leaves a huge scar which just does not go away. I'm left with so many scars on my face. Not just that,
  4. Hey, I've resorted to posting here online to ask for peoples opinions about my journey so far with acne and to find some sort of advice from people that have had similar experiences. My story doesn't differ greatly from the amount of people I've seen post on this site, year 9, started to develop acne like most people so I didn't think much of it, just he typical "it's a part of growing up" mentality. Although a year after I noticed people starting to clear up while mine was worsening; this situ
  5. I have been prescribed MInocycline by my derm. and after a week Im broken out in hives and my face is not clearer in fact i have red spots all over. School starts tomorrow! Anyone else have this problem?
