  1. Yeeeees! Finally! Free from acne! It’s been a year, and my skin is still doing great!! I want to share the products that worked for me. I can finally go the to store without makeup and not feel uncomfortable. My skin doesn’t hurt and i don’t feel self conscious (even though i tried not to) about my skin. About me: acne from 11-32 years old, female, 33 now. I tried SO. MANY. PRODUCTS. Nothing worked. pretty much every type of acne, some type all over my face. The little bumps everywh
  2. Hey there, I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with clay masks? I recently purchased a Seaweed ionic clay mask from The Body Shop, apparantly it draws out impurities, its clarifying and skin refreshing. I have ALOT of clogged pores, like underskin bumps which are really unnattractive and was thinking this may help...I guess its all just trial and error. The ingredients seemed fine aswell. Just wondering if anyway had any input
  3. My skin is practically clear! I have alot of red marks, a few black heads and a couple of cloged pores but OMG I'm loving my skin. I'v been doing a few new things with it and I will make a more detailed post about it later, but I am just so happy right now!!!!!!
  4. This post is for women who wear makeup but are unsure what makeup brands won't cause/irritate acne and work well with the flaking that bp causes plus other skincare products that have been controlling my acne. My acne started when I was 13/14 and I still struggle with break outs in my 20s. However, the regimen has really helped to control my acne to the point where I'm not self conscious about my skin with my makeup. My acne is moderate and I have combination skin which makes makeup application
  5. Hi guys, Another day, another dollar. I'm currently at work on a Friday afternoon and thought hmmm I haven't updated my "blog" in a while. Obviously when we have a breakout, we jump onto google/acne.org in the hopes of finding an answer. I'm just going to paste my skincare routine from my prev blog entry & then add some notes. This is less boring then reading paragraphs. Just to update you though, my acne has now shifted from my cheeks (relieved not to have to deal with constant cysts) -
  6. Hi! I recently started The Regimen and I'm aware of the fact that you're supposed to dry out from the BP, problem is I already have dry skin to begin with and I was wondering if it is okay to use DIY masks (honey, coconut oil, etc) to reduce the dryness while on The Regimen or if the result would be that The Regimen wouldn't be as affective? When is a good time to do the masks if so? Before doing the nighttime routine? I would be so grateful if I get feedback on this, have someone tried this
  7. Ok so a while ago I went natural with my skin and I do think it started improving. I got off the regimen though because it did take some time and school was keeping me very busy so I quit and started using a cleanser from clearisil. My skin has been acting up lately and it's summer so I have a lot of extra time so I'm going to go natural again. My skin problems vary in severity. Lately I have had one or two large puss filled pimples on my cheeks and temples. The rest of my face is covered in
  8. Hey Everyone! So I need a BIG favor. Ugh, okay, My acne marks (hyperpigmentation) are reallllly red right now. And they are literally all over my face! And school is on August 15. So needless to say, I need a miracle.. haha. This is my 11th week on Tretinoin cream... and it's helping but my face is super dry. And I have Porcelana Day Cream Skin Lightening stuff, but that seems uneffective plus it contains mineral oil. Does anybody have suggestions as to how I can fade these marks ASAP? Any good
  9. I have red marks on my cheeks that i've been trying to fade for a year with very little success. They're stubborn red marks, no matter what I do they just won't budge. I break out a lot less that I used to, now I only get about 3 small zits a week. Is turmeric good for fading acne scars? Is it safe to use cucumber/turmeric masks every night? I have a very fair/sensitve skin and I am afraid the turmeric will cause yellow staining or make my acne worse. I use a salicylic acid face wash 2x a
  10. Hello! I'm finally curing my acne but now I have a ton of acne scars, I would like to hear what homemade masks have help you! I don't use anything not homemade because it always makes me breakout again :/
  11. Has anyone used any of Tony Moly's skin products? i bought his "so cool eye stick" and i love it but I'm scared to try his face products. I've suffered with acne for a long time and now that my skin's clear i get nervous to try new things
  12. I got my first zip when I was 10 years old. My mother quickly bought me every product under the sun to help control my acne my young, sensitive skin never responded well to any of them. By age 13 I had tried the clean and Clear Advantage, Proactive, Clearasil, neutrogena's skin ID and almost every product out there. Every spot treatment gave me rash and every pill I was given made me throw up. By 15 I began to break out less and less but when I did break out it was awful. Birth control pills hel
