  1. Hi guys, What are your thoughts about this idea. Many people say that by regualrly massaging with certain oils and washing face with manuka honey in the morning. They have finally managed their acne. Both of these are processes which affect acne to a superficial level. unlike diet. So do they work even without a diet change (ofcourse that would be a plus). If yes, can we conclude that acne can be controlled by what you put on your face alone as well?

Happy New Year peeps! I hope this year will be best year yet for your skin, self esteem and confidence. Here's hoping! I just HAD to make a post about a wonderful treatment I've been applying to my skin since December 26th; it's none other than the aspirin honey mask that I'm sure a lot of you guys would have come across when google-ing for acne remedies like I'm sure almost all of us have done countless times. Basically it's aspirin pills (I use two pills of 300 mg dosage) dissolved in a so
  3. Hello. I used to take Golden Hills Manuka Honey umf 20, but the brand is not anymore. What Manuka Honey do you recommend (just umf, not MGO) ? Thank you.
  4. ** I AM RETURNING TO THIS BLOG TWO YEARS LATER TO RE-TEST MY RESULTS.** For some reason, I stopped doing what I was doing and started using expensive products (Paula's Choice) to clear my acne. I'm going to try this again to see if I can replicate my results. Skip to the last post to see what I'm doing NOW or read through to see what I did BEFORE. Hey there! Before I get into what I'm doing for my skin/health, I want to start off by saying my skin feels GREAT. I'm really excited about it
  5. I would love to hear your tips. Manuka or raw? Worked for you or doesn't? What else you are doing? Any bc pills? Topicals? Diets? Or any home remedies! I am new to this site and new to having acne...I have cyst and now little tiny bumps all over since starting trinessa bc pills! I'm thinking of stopping..I'm almost done with my second pack. Any feed back as to what worked for you is awesome! I have a couple responses to my first thread that helped. More the merrier! Thank you
  6. Hi everybody! I have used manuka honey to put it on my face for a couple of hours every day for 1 week already and have seen some results. It has faded away the red spots I had on my neck and reduced new inflammations there. The same on the right cheek. Unfortunately I had a bad breakout on my left cheek after I tried exfoliating it with baking soda (will stay away from that now), so I will probably have to use honey for a couple more weeks. I used MGO250 (UMF??) honey, but have ordered a st
  7. So i'm doing a research paper on honey and how it kills bacteria, and i've been reading a lot of research papers on the anti-inflammatory factors of honey. Apparently its so antibacterial, many researchers are looking to honey to be the new antibiotic. Hows this relevant to your acne? well here are some properties of honey that may be good in getting rid of /treating problems associated with acne: As i said, honey is very antibacterial, and famous for wound treatment.
