  1. Most people out there have acne that's nice enough to dry up on its own with or without acne treatment. A couple of years ago, I just started getting these ridiculously stubborn clogged pores that will never go away no matter what I put on my skin. Also, nothing can prevent them from forming. They are extremely deep and they become inflamed spontaneously. The plugs that I get are huge, solid plugs that are like splinters. People tell me not to squeeze them but if I don't squeeze them out, they w
  2. Hi does Mandelic Acid work on blackheads??? Can anyone share their experiences using this product???
  3. Ok so I don't want to jinx anything but I ordered some mandelic acid for ishtar which I received on Friday, I have used it Friday night and sat night and the results are amazing on my small bumps under skin! There are only a few left and Ihave had no peeling or dry skin. I will upload a photo so you can compare the one from my last post to this one and iit's only after 2 days! Would recommend giving it a go
  4. Hi there! I need some advice. After trying a new aesthetician (From Head to Toe 7466 Beverly Blvd, LA, CA), my skin broke out in the worst way possible. I now have these gross, skin colored bumps all over my forehead & jaw that I don't really see as much as feel. They become visible when my skin is stretched though (like when I open my mouth, etc). I bought mandelic acid serum 10% from MUAC and mandelic acid toner 5%, which I had used for about two weeks. However, out of desperation, I als
  5. Hello! I just recently purchased MUAC's 25 Mandelic Acid and I got the Green Tea cleanser. I was wondering if I could use Cerave Foaming Cleanser before applying the peel instead of the Green Tea cleanser? Thanks!
  6. I've seen a lot of people promoting Mandelic acid and glycolic.. what's the overall best for fading the red marks on your skin? I'm looking in to Salycilic and Hydroquinone too. Also, might add that I'm on a low 10-20mg dose of accutane.. I've already been on 2 doses to get rid of my acne which cleared my skin up completely.. but unfortunately staying on a low dose is the only way to keep my skin clear.. I also really don't want to have to deal with these ugly red marks! So I'm at a crossro
  7. I been doing at home chemical peels from MUAC, i started with the 25% MAndelic acid for acne and pigmentation and scars left by acne after a series of 3 peels i move up to 40% mandelic acid peel. The first time i did this peel it took my skin about 6 days to completely heal , i used manuka honey +15 during the 3 day (Every Night) when my skin was a bit flaky and it speed up the healing i think im not sure. My question was [ Will manuka honey help the skin heal faster after any type of chemical
  8. Hello, I'm currently using azelaic acid 20% in my regimen, and I'm thinking about buying a new moisturizer with mandelic acid as one of its ingredients. I want to know if using both acids will cause any sorts of irritations. Thanks in advance.
  9. Yesterday I did an at home 25% Mandelic Acid Peel from makeupartistchoice.com. I did it to treat hyperpigmentation, red marks from shaving, breakouts on the sides of my face and some ingrown hairs. Today, my forehead is covered in small red marks. It looked much better before the peel even happened. The sides of my face have very minor peeling but are mostly covered in red blotches. I discontinued using tretinoin roughly 36 hours before the peel, did not leave the acid on for more than 3 minut

  11. Hi guys, To avoid going on a long rant, I am going to try and keep this as short and sweet as possible... I've been battling what I've self-diagnosed as Folliculitis on my scalp and face for 5 years now. I've seen dermatologists and have been treated with all types of oral and topical anti-biotics. During treatment, all is good - 100% clearance. After treatment, the Folliculitis comes back stronger than ever. I refuse to take more oral anti-biotics as I believe these can be very damaging
  12. So I finally decided to sort myself out with a proper skin care regime. I use a lightly exfoliating seaweed and lime face wash in the Awake and Revive brand from PHB (Pure Halal Beauty), it's product range is non alcoholic, has no animal ingredients or animal testing and contains 100% natural, organic ingredients, making it eco friendly. I also use the Sweet Orange Floral water toner Skin soothing spot treatment gel And Moisturiser from the same Awake and Revive range. With my acne v
