  1. I need some counseling from other people who have been on ultra low dose Accutane. I am currently on 40mg twice a week - one 40mg pill on tuesday and one on friday. It's has been a little over a month since I started treatment and I haven't seen any evidence of the Accutane doing anything except for the occasionally dry lips. I was on a normal course of Accutane around 2 years ago but my acne came back, sadly. It was only after reading such amazing things about ultra low-dose treatments that
  2. Hi all, I am so happy with my results using the Regimen, I had to post something. I am 32 (female) and have had acne since I was a teenager, it has never gone away. Every few years, my breakouts get so bad I just want to stay home and not show my face. I get cystic acne, whitehead and blackheads. I never used to get acne on my cheeks but for the last few years, acne has found a home there and around my chin area. I have worn make-up everyday since my late teens to cover up the acne. But
  3. I completed my Accutane treatment and now I am supposed to wait 6 months-1 year before I proceed with the scar treatments. My doctor who will perform the subcision told me that 6 months would be enough. In the meantime I'll try to combat the discoloration by applying fortifying serums/creams. Time is on my side... I've read that 6 months is all it takes for the PIH to fade away. My face is still drier than it used to be and I hope it stays that way, because I don't want to deal with the same o
  4. Hi there, I am 25. After having normal and mostly clear skin since I was a teenager I developed mild/moderate acne (more moderate, I guess) in Jan 2018. I tried various OTC remedies but nothing worked (most made things worse) and I went to my GP (UK) for help in March 2018. I was prescribed Differin (0.1% adapalene) but I was too scared to use it because: a. the prospect of a lengthy initial breakout was probably worse than living with my persistent but never severe acne b. I spend lo
  5. heeeey long time no post so i went on roaccutane in august 2013, and i'm just finishing off my last few days worth of pills now. my skin is clear! aside from red marks obviously. i still get a spot or two like once a week (is that normal?) but yeah i'm happy and i can actually leave the house now. anyway like i said i have a few days worth of tablets left and i had an appointment with my dermatologist today - i asked him about maintenance and if he was going to prescribe me something lik
  6. Hello! I just wanted to know what have you done post-accutane treatment. My derm prescribed me differin, I´m supposed to use it righ away but I am afraid because my face is still sensitive from the accutane. I also don´t want to have an IB from the differin, so I´m not sure about what to do. Any tips or experiences?
