  1. Hello ! Has anyone tried any products from LUSH ? Has anything worked for you ? Is there something you could recommend for body acne/cystic acne/scarring ?? I`m looking forward to your answers because I'm thinking of trying it, but I'm not sure yet..
  2. Okay I'm 14 and my acne has been really bad in the past couple months. I'm seriously so embarrassed to do anything. I'm even embarrassed being around my family. I'm sick and tired of my acne and trying so many products. This is gonna be my little acne diary type thing so I can update about changes and look back to see what works and what doesn't. Below is a list of things I've tried. Caveman Regimen Proactiv Clearisel Urine Therepy Lush Products Elf zit zapper OCM and probably a lot more
  3. Hello! I have these red marks or spots left by every pimple I get! I never had this before it just started recently. I get pimples from my period and it leaves a mark every time they go away so they just keep adding up so I have a lot right now on my right cheek. I've had them for a couple months now and some seem to fade a bit but the bigger ones are taking longer. What products can I use for this? I've used lush before for my acne and i like lush a lot. Does anyone know what lush products are
  4. From the album: BEFORE PROACTIVE

Hey! I've struggled with acne since about 6th grade. I'm currently a high schooler and i know firsthand acne is super tough to handle, especially as of right now in my life. i've truly tried everything, you name it. from black soap to 3 clique system treatment, I've honestly become hopeless. so why not try proactive? i tried beforehand back in my middle school days before i truly understood how to treat my skin. although, back then it didn't have much of an effect on my skin. i have decided ma
  5. Hey, I start my first prescription of isotretinoin/accutane tomorrow and I'm wondering what the best skincare products are to use? I bought a Cetaphil moisturiser today, as well as a La Roche-Posay cleanser, lipbalm and moisturiser. Do people recommend getting a Cetaphil cleanser too? Possibly a body wash and body lotion? Everything else I have at the moment is scented and will be too harsh on my skin whilst on the meds. Any advice is really appreciated. Lizzie x
  6. First entry! Here I will keep track of my current regime, and update with posts anytime I change anything about my regime. Morning and Evening* Wash face with Fresh Farmacy by Lush (calamine powder, chamomile, elderflower, lavender, tea tree oil, rose absolute, marigold flowers) Tone with Breath of Fresh Air by Lush (spring water, sea water, aloe vera gel, rose absolute, patchouli oil, rosemary oil, seaweed absolute) Moisturize with Celestial by Lush (vanilla water, almond oil, almond
  7. Okay so, I have been using the acne.org regimen since April. I think this year was by far the worst year for my face to break out.(2016 is terrible in general). When I used the product in April through July my face was cleared up. I had some blemishes, but were not too bad. By that time, I became a little careless, I still went with the regimen, but I would run out of some products and just wait till they came in the mail. I didn't use any backup products as I was too cocky that my skin didn't n
  8. Cystic acne help? Natural skin care products? I generally have combination skin, oily in the t-zone and a bit on my cheeks, but parts of my face are neither dry or oily. I have large pores and blackheads all over my face. I did suffer from cystic pimples for a few years until last year and finally got past them with Differin and Doxycycline. The about a week ago I got a giant cystic pimple next to my nostril and I started putting hot packs on it. The size decreased by a lot and I continue to

    My Skincare Routine!

Whadup skincare routine! I thought I'd share with you my skincare routine (for both morning and evening) in the hope it can help you guys out there who are still suffering from that bastard we all know as acne. So, on we go: Morning LUSH Coalface Cleanser - I use this with an exfoliating pad I bought from Target. I cut little pieces off the block of cleanser and work it into a lather with my hands. I then apply to my face, wet the exfoliating pad, and "buff" the cleanser into my skin.
  10. I recently got prescribed .025% Tretinoin. I currently use lush's Aqua Marina as my face wash and I love it. However, there is no lush store around me, and I will have to start washing my face twice a day since I use the gel instead of just once. I would prefer to have a wash that I have access to and last a longer time. What is a good sensitive cleanser to use with Tretinoin? (not Cetaphil - Cetaphil always breaks me out)
  11. Hi everyone so I was in Lush today and decided to buy some new skin care products and change my skin care routine, The items which I bought are listed below: https://www.lush.co.uk/products/cleansers/fresh-farmacy https://www.lush.co.uk/products/grease-lightning https://www.lush.co.uk/products/tea-tree-water Tonight I have used all 3 of these, at first they made my skin feel rather dry so I decided to moisturise my face with some e45 lotion. All is good at the moment but I think do

    Two Months!

Before I start - I realized I made an entry titled "Eight Weeks" it was actually "Six Weeks" WHOOPS! Lol. I can't believe it has only been two months! I feel and see my skin improving with every passing week. I have been getting a lot of compliments on my skin recently and it has made me feel SO good. It's amazing to see how much of an impact having acne had on my overall self image. My skin was free of actual pimples until my last post. That cluster came from what I believe was five days of bi
  13. Hi So I have been using proactive since Feb this year, and for me it has worked wonders. I had used it a couple of years ago but for some reason it stopped working and I broke out horribly until I went on the pill. The pill cleared up my acne so much that I could use general cleansers from the supermarket which was great on the wallet. Then I started breaking out terribly again and here I am using proactive again. I want to start using something more natural, I want to steer clear of ben
  14. Today marks day one of a new regimen that I am going to stick to. All the other regimens I stress out and get pissed off because my skin starts to burn and what not, all that fun stuff that comes along with SA and BP. So I've decided to really give Lush products a go. I've owned the coalface scrub before which I actually ran out of before switching back to crappy acne products, and I have a very soothing moisturizer. So now for my skin at the moment. I had a breakout last week (today is now

    Any Insight On Lush Products?

Hi guys, I'm struggling really hard to find a cleanser in the UK. I've looked at alot and they have alot of pore clogging stuff! (i do the dkr regimine , using panoxyl and cetaphil cream) just cant get a cleanser! I used to use acne.org cleanser, but since customs in UK lowered the Custom value fee to anything over £15 gets a charge, anything i order now will come with a huge customs fee of £22 it's terrible. I can't get hold of cetaphil anymore either the product has come so hard to

    New Regimen!

Alright guys, so its been a while since I've last posted but I'm gonna tell you my new regimen this is actually the best and easiest on my skin, which isn't half as sensitive as before! so in the mornings i start with the biotherm homme cleansing gel for normal skin! points: -its very gentle -doesnt scrub or irritate skin -doesnt leave skin tight -great on sensitive skin -wakes my skin up! how i use it: after i shower i wet my face and put a quarter size (at most) into my palm, i l

From the album: My Journey through Sronyx + Acanya + Doxycycline + Yasmin (and Vi Peel) + Retin-A 0.025 + Differin 0.3% + 1% Clindamycin 5% Benzol Peroxide

Snapped before starting a new program from my dermatologist: Acanya is being booted. No more Acanya, which makes me nervous. Differin 0.3% in the morning. Retin-A 0.025% Still using Purity from Philosophy, and Lush's Farmacy face bar. Doxycycline bumped up: now to 2 x 150mg every day. Still on Yasmin! We'll see how it goes!

From the album: My Journey through Sronyx + Acanya + Doxycycline + Yasmin (and Vi Peel) + Retin-A 0.025 + Differin 0.3% + 1% Clindamycin 5% Benzol Peroxide

Differin, Retin-A, Purity and Fresh Farmacy face wash, Doxy twice a day, Yasmin: About 2 weeks on the new program, definitely notice tiny breakouts on my forehead, and larger pimples popped up on the other side of my face. Crossing my fingers this is just normal, and that it'll go away. The skin between my nose and my cheeks, in that little flap, is super dry: trying not to put it there. Using "Gorgeous" moisturizer from Lush on the dry parts.

    Almost Four Months

I can't believe it has almost been four months! Thank you for the comments and direct messages I have received, by the way!! So I am still on 100mg of Spiro. Now, I am taking it right before bed with my birth control and I am finding that none of the side affects are bothering me anymore. I was taking it right with dinner and sometimes I would get a little light-headed by the time I drove home from work (around 11pm-midnight). My skin has still remained fairly clear. I did get a really random
  23. Welcome to my Blog/gallery. - Picture March 2013 - 5 minutes apart w/makeup & without I have decided to document my Acne story for my own personal reflection and to help any others also struggling who may read my posts and think "Wow I am not alone..." . I would also like to post about my makeup routine to cover acne scars. I have been struggling with Acne for 10 years. I don't mean "struggling" like how sometimes people who do not have severe acne talk about their three little dots
  24. Without writing an essay about my entire life I basically get severe back acne, moderate face acne and mild chest acne. Ive always noticed my back acne was very 'on/off', it would often seem to clear up by itself but then come back. This puzzled me as i never used products on my back because i was so focused on clearing up my face. The only thing that ever went on my back was the soap i used in the shower that my parents would buy - but they changed it every time, so to cut this short i na
