  1. Hi, all, Has anyone heard of, used, or spoke with someone who has used Theraclear? I went to a new dermatologist back in February and he recommended it because it supposedly has no side effects and is not medicinal. I thought about it and decided against it. Then yesterday, I went to the same office but saw a different derm and she highly recommended it, saying that they currently treat many patients in their office with this machine, have seen great results with it, there's nothing to be sca
  2. Just a quick update that I'll be getting Broad Band Light treatment tomorrow (I think it's an updated type of intense pulse light treatment). It's supposed to help with sun damage, pigmentation issues, and overall skin health. It supposedly can help decrease your change of developing skin cancer in the future too which sounds like a nice bonus to me. I spent basically my entire youth frying in the sun and then my skin got scars from all my cystic acne so my skin has been through a lot. I figure
  3. Hi there. I am a 17-year-old girl with hormonal acne. I have tried birth control, Ortho Tri-Cylcen Lo, and I did not like the side effects of it. I gained weight and my mood swings were absolutely TERRIBLE. What sucks, my acne and my weight are two of my biggest insecurites, and the pounds were just packing on, I had to go off of the birth control, no matter how much work it was doing for my skin. So, I am here ready to move on to my next option. I am looking at light or laser surgey, but I d

In the pictures from yesterday you can see on my left side that I had some bright red blemishes on my chin and along my jaw bone. But today, those have all mostly dried up and are just scabs now. I am fighting a serious urge to not pick at everything or grab a wet towel to scrub my face. I know this is doing wonders, I can feel it. But I can also feel that it hasn't necessarily 'cur
  5. My first post! - I'm looking to get some advice according to my skin issues. I live in South Wales (UK) So not a lot of sun! The sun clears my skin up very well but going on the sunbeds is pricey so I was considering buying a handheld one for convenience and to save money in the long run. I have small bumps under my skin, mainly on my chin. They've started showing up on my cheeks too. I think it's mostly due to using make up. (If you search acne cosmetica- those small bumps are exactly what
