  1. So I'm 33 years old I had acne really bad in High school did the whole Accutane thing then. I feel as though it was not the solution I thought it was going to be. A few years later my acne came back not as bad but ever year it would get a little worse until I was right back to were I was to start with. I then went on the all natural band wagon and tried just about everything i could find. Honey, garlic, tea tree oil, vinegar, baking soda, none of it seemed to work. More recently I started
  2. I just don't understand how if the hormones in milk supposedly cause acne, then why do fermented products not cause the same effects? I am just confused about the whole hormone and body connection in general. I mean how do our bodies know what hormones to deactivate and what ones to put into action? I mean body builders that take steroids for instance, their bodies are using those hormones readily. Thus, I don't think out bodies have something such as "hormone screening" in which it's like, oh, w
  3. Hello, and this is for real. I feel pretty confident that this will be one of the best posts you have ever read relating to the disease you get to wear on your face every day: acne. THIS MAY SOUND LIKE AN INFOMERCIAL BUT IT'S NOT. I'm a real dude and I have discovered, after all this time, the closest thing to a magic bullet for acne that I have ever found, EVER. Please let me share it with you.... I'm a 34 year old male. I have struggled with acne for 20 years and, yes, I have visi
  4. Hi Guys, The change to my skin has been dramatic. I have had no spots on my face for 2 months now but I still get some spots on my scalp. I would therefore say I am around 80% - 90% cured. I still have very oily skin though. What I did was: 1. Cut out all Coffee, replacing with decaffeinated tea. 2. Follow an Intermittent Fasting pattern of eating. I eat from 12pm - 9pm everyday only. Apart from step 4 below. 3. Have a VSL#3 sachet at 8am on an empty stomach. 4. Have a full glass of home
  5. DAY 15 OF TAZORAC (used 4x) + DOXYCYCLINE TWICE A DAY I've been feeling rather hopeless. My skin is so bad that I feel like I'm never going to get clear at this rate. I don't know what to do. I want to be able to live my life again and spend time with my boyfriend again but my acne hurts and it just makes me uncomfortable and self conscious to cuddle with him when my chin, jawline & forehead feel so devastatingly rough and inflamed. I'm so tired of crying everyday. I'm so tired of waking
  6. Hello Everyone, I have been suffering from acne for over 12 years (on and off). I have finally managed to eliminate it and have decided to share my findings for the benefit of others. The type of acne I suffered from was acne vulgaris. Key points that aggravated my acne: Oily skin Sugary foods (this includes dairy) caused more oil production Stopping sugary/dairy foods resulted in reduction of oil production In my case, oily skin was the cause of my acne, so if I could reduce the oil pr
