  1. Since around August last year, my skin (which was once very clear, maybe only 3-4 small non-inflamed spots) has been getting worse. At first it was just a few more on my forehead, but now it's covering my forehead, all along my hairline, a little on my cheeks and a bit on my chin. My back and chest doesn't have a lot of acne. Whilst I do struggle with picking acne on my face (though I have improved), I was wondering whether being extremely iron deficient could cause it to get worse. Since my iro
  2. So, I'm anemic (probably because of my baaad diet) I'm starting to take a multivitamin which has iron, B12 and many other vitamins but I made sure it had no iodine...do you think it will make my acne worse? I heard iodine is the main culprit for breakouts caused by multivitamins
  3. I've been suffering from folliculitis and/or staph infections for years in my scalp and beard. It has been on and off, but so has my zinc intake (more on that later). Doctors had trouble diagnosing exactly what was going on but I can describe it. Painful, itchy, and/or burning. Bulging oozing whiteheads that I would scratch off (didn't have to pop like typical pimples, they were usually very soft and on the surface and ready to go). They would come back either white, or yellow or gree
  4. Hello internet, I guess today I am halfway through month 3. There were a few days last week when I had no actives, but then I got two, one on each cheek I have been really good at leaving them alone though, so right now they are just red marks, healing. If it weren't for that, I would have no actives. Just a lot of scars and redness. So I'm pretty happy about that. Definitely seeing progress. I am able to go out with just a bit of cover-up on the worst parts of my cheek, where there are a
  5. Howdy! So I've been off accutane for a month now and my face is starting to get really oily again. Will oil comes some acne once again, and I want to do everything I can to prevent this. I'm going to college in a month, so my mom won't let me go on accutane again. In other words, I have decided to research countless hours and have decided a regimen that I thought would be good for me. I have been taking zinc and vitamin e the past month, but from what I could tell nothing major has happened. I
  6. today my doctor told me i have pretty low iron and i was wondering if this can have an affect on my skin???
  7. Hi im kinda anemic... And i wonder if it does give in the factor of my acne... I never heard of it before but maybe you have?

  9. Hi, Lately I have been feeling more tired than usual which is really bothering me as I have energy for nothing. I have read that my iron levels can be low and that might help. However I am not going to add a supplement to my diet that could in some way worsen my acne. I don’t think it’s worth it. I searched around on this forum to dine and information about it and if it could potentially cause acne but didn’t find a lot so I decided to make my own topic about it. My question is very simple
