  1. Hey, guys! I know it's been forever since I've updated on these forums. I'm super happy to say that I mostly have my adult acne under control. However, I definitely still get hormonal breakouts every month. They never get too bad anymore, but honestly that's because I've finally found out how to properly spot treat whiteheads! So, I found this product called Dots. They're hydrocolloid blemish patches that you're supposed to put on before you go to bed and sleep with them. So, that's what I di

    Hydrocolloid Plasters

So this might not be new but worth a mention to those who have a self esteem knocking breakout like mine... Yesterday I looked in the mirror and saw a nasty spot forming in the centre of my forehead and got upset. WITHOUT THINKING I picked at it - yes I know, the worst thing I can do to it! One thing led to another and I started messing with the under the skin small spots on my chin, which are not to be messed with and TA DAH I woke up today with a bad breakout. It's my own fault, if I did
  3. Skin Condition My skin texture looks good, i have very littler redness except for directly around a few pimples: The small cluster of whiteheads on my chin has turned into one smaller, less inflamed whitehead I have one whitehead right at the front of my eyebrow my forehead looks really smooth aside from a few bumps (the # of bumps decreases every day) of course my face is covered in acne marks and some scars Application This morning I washed my face w

It took me 2 months of trying everything under the sun to finally find my fix (found on these forums actually!). And 2 months since then to feel human again. Here's my story: 5 months ago I had clear skin. CLEEEEAR. Boom. Hormones went nuts in June. I had a breakout on my chin, then another one, then
  5. I just rushed into a derm to get my first cortisone shot. I don't think it's a cyst - I believe the derm said it was a papule - but it's a relatively large, blind, inflamed pimple on the right side of my chin. And it's resisting everything I've thrown at it - aspirin, turmeric, honey, Desitin, Calamine lotion, salicylic acid, tamanu oil, lavender essential oil... So she agreed to put a drop or two of diluted cortisone in it. I assume 1-2 drops is standard? And I know diluted is safer when it com
