  1. Hey guys I just made an account because I wanted to post this to help people. I had acne for about a year recently and I tried almost everything to get it off: oils, facial creams and wash, moisturisers, and yes I did try potatoes. They all didn't work and actually made the acne worse. then I tried using an aloe vera plant and it was so good at getting rid of acne that I could see some results in just a few days. watch this video I posted on youtube to explain my method. {LINK REMOVED}
  2. I want to share some of the EFT tapping that I used to help heal zits and breakouts. For those new to EFT, you learn it from this short pdf guide, and you'll be able to follow along with the tapping rounds I have below. I promise it will make sense once you've read it. Tap Away Acne Quick-Start Guide.pdf I would usually tap one or two rounds on acne in general, and then focus in on the individual aspects of my acne that were bothering me. Targeting specific this about it gave the b
  3. My name is Nathaniel. I am currently 15 years old and close to 16 and i have lived with acne for 3 years that CONSTANTLY got worse, this is my story of acne and my cure of it. Since i was 13 my acne snowballed into a worse and worse scenario, it started just fine not bad a here and there pimple to inflamed skin and more keratization and closed comedones everywhere, until i had closed comedones covering every pore across my face and zits that multiplied and sprawled out onto my face. Basically
  4. Hello I have been on accutane before (ordered online) and I was wondering how do I get prescribed accutane? Do I make an appointment with any dermatologist? And what are the chances of getting prescribed accutane? I'm 21 with my own health insurance but my parents live half way across the country so they can't help. Thanks!
  5. I have the 3 step regimen on it's way and have done a lot of research about it. Because numerous people have stated that they get excessively dry skin and that jojoba oil was really helpful I went on ebay and bought this. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/390394754855?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_3048wt_1401 Can you please tell me if that would be a good substitute because if it isn't the next time I order the regimen I will purchase dan's jojobal oil bottle. Also, how shou
  6. Hello, I'm a 19 year old that's had acne since I was 13 and nothing I tried ever worked so recently I got put on Differin .3% by my doctor. He said rub a pea sized amount all over your face. Well, now that I have the prescription I find that statement very vague. I'm a person that likes to know EXACTLY how to do something. Or else I worry if I put it on wrong or what not. The reason I find it vague is because the pea sized amount all over my face just simply doesn't cut it. Not even close. I
  7. In this post I'd like to show how to use EFT, which is what I used to eliminate the emotional factors in my life that were causing my acne. For those unfamiliar with it, EFT, or Emotional Freedom Techniques, is a simple self-help technique which enables you to quickly and easily resolve all kinds of painful negative emotions, whether past or present. By lightly tapping on a series of points on the face and upper body, EFT releases 'stuck' emotional energy, taking the charge out of painful o
  8. How to clean your makeup brushes and why you should wash brand new makeup brushes before you use them. Johnson's Baby Shampoo is a great gentle make up brush cleanser and it's pretty cheap when you think about the amount that you get. How often should you clean your makeup brushes? I talk about that and more in this video! xoxo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6dz-hxhcUU http://gladazzle.com/tutorials/how-to-clean-your-makeup-brushes/
  9. Today is day one for me with taking Amnesteem and I am pretty nervous because of all of the stories I have heard mainly about how it will get way worse before it gets better. I have struggled with acne for so long and I have tried everything under the sun and over the counter etc. with no positive results. I am wanting to start a blog on here to so I can keep up with my progress throughout the medication but I can't figure out how to start the blog on here. Can anyone help me?
  10. Please someone help me. I have done all I can do reduce and prevent my acne, along with treating my scars. I have starting drinking plenty of water, using lemon juice, witch hazel, exfoliating, face masks. Along with these, I maintain a gentle skin care routine. I don't know how to heal my face.. can anyone further advise me? I have combination skin. I also have much more cystic acne than regular surfaced acne, which is where the scarring comes from. the acne is mostly on my cheeks but I also do
  11. I am considering using The Regimen for my acne problem, however the problem isn't severe. I noticed on the directions for The Regimen, it is suggested to use half a pump of benzoyl peroxide in the beginning and slowly work up to two pumps. I noticed that above the dosage chart, it explicitly states that this amount is needed for "Treating entire face" My question is: Can i put half a pump of benzoyl peroxide on only my problem areas (mainly above eyebrows and chin area but that's it, i don't hav
  12. Hey, If you are here then you are most likely interested or actually doing your best to live a healthy lifestyle and stop your acne breakouts from within. I struggled with acne and weight issues for over 7 years! In the last 12 months, I’ve helped myself and 9 people to stop their breakouts and get a clear skin! I am not a doctor, dermatologist, or acne expert who never had acne, so most likely I can relate to your current situation. I am not some guy who
  13. Hello everyone! I specifically joined this forum to lend help to those who have tried a million different acne treatments and have failed. After many several attempts I finally found something that works for me that uses both over the counter topical cream and supplements to help clear cystic acne. Here's my story: When I turned 24 last year after a long night out I woke up the next day with the beginning of an acne breakout. I thought the reason it was happening was because I slept with m
