    Day 8 & 9

I can resist everything except temptation. (Wilde) Skin is on the up and up. I have been a little mischievous, I've had chocolate (shock, horror, shock). But such is the price you pay for going home. I think that, and the absurd amount of compliments one receives from relatives. They've all commented on how 'healthy' my skin and hair looks. I'm happy they noticed. However, there is such a thing as too many compliments, and my family kind of crosses that line. It comes across as fawning. Exce
  2. So its been about a year since i cured my acne through diet, but unfortunately when i first started getting acne i used to pick them which has left some scars on my forehead. I've left them for a year and there is no hyperpigmentation and they've filled in a bit but the scars are still noticeable, especially in that blue indoor light. Anything i can do at home to reduce the scarring?
  3. My name is Mariam. I'm 16 years old. I have noticed some discoloring parts in my skin. Mostly in the side areas of my face yet I am not sure if it's a scar. My mom says it's still a pimple but I find it odd. It's been there for months. What do they look like to you? Are they scars? What kind? If they are what can I do to treat it? I am very worry about this
  4. So I'm 16, and I have had a lot of acne. As of now, I don't have any and I've sort of found a routine that works for me, so I think that this should help a lot with my acne. In the past few weeks that I've been using this routine, my skin definitely does look a lot better and I've gotten like one pimple compared to the 6 or 7 that I would normally get before my period. I have no pimples currently, but I do have a lot of hyper pigmentation that looks really bad. I feel terrible because I've

  6. Tests you can do yourself, things you should monitor yourself, what/how to interpret/use info from tests, etc. Because you need to take charge of your own health care. And always get and keep copies of anything your doctor has done. First of all, you can get quite a few things on Amazon. And some things at your drugstore. You can check your blood pressure at drugstores. And you should be monitoring your blood pressure. Home tests: I got this one in a newsletter today: www.canaryclub.org/h
  7. I've had acne on my butt since I was a kid. A year or two ago I decided to try everything I could to get rid of it. Tried basically every method I read about online. Here are the results of how each method worked for me. Obviously every body is different, and different things work for different people. This is just my experience. Honey- Worked very mildly. I read to put honey on my butt for 20 minutes a day. Was a mess, and had to walk around naked with a sticky butt. It did make the swelling o
  8. Stupid redirect loop! I've been trying to publish this for about twenty four hours..! And now it is very overdue. I actually started writing it ages ago, but never got around to finishing it. And now it's so overdue, I feel like I just need to get it out there, even though it's substandard, and a more disappointing Christmas present than one holey sock (hey, the older you get the more exciting a proper pair of socks becomes because it means you didn't have to go sock-shopping, don't deny it. Eve
  9. I've had good success with aspirin. Of course, some cysts/zits will be stubborn. But aspirin has helped me so much. What I do is crush the aspirin (I put a pill in between two toilet paper squares and use the bottom of a nail polish bottle). Once that is done, I apply some topical cream to my affected area and (while still wet) apply some aspirin powder. I leave it on overnight! The anti-inflammatory properties should work their magic and help you.
