  1. Hi I am eula from Philippines. I have very oily skin and acne prone skin . 3 months ago I have clear face except for the occasional pimples occurs everymonth due to my period. During the middle of summer. I tried using lemon to lighten my face. The next day I saw my face with small pimps. Is lemon can do that? I just thought maybe its summer and it would go away but the next few days and week i know its not just pimple im starting to breakouts! It happen for 3months. I tried using korean product
  2. Hi all, So I am wondering if any of you can impart your wisdom as to how to get rid of a soft, red, raised bump left over from a pimple quicker... Background: So I have clear skin now and have done for around 9 months (*finally!*). In this time frame I have only had 1 large under the skin bumps; this one gracefully planted itself slap bang in the middle of my cheek 2 weeks ago right next to a icepick scar (so it looked super attractive) after using Paula's Choice 2% BHA the night before for
  3. i'm a 15 y/o girl and i've been on accutane now for two months. my first dose was 40mg a day, but last month my derm upped it to 60mg. i've heard this is a pretty high dose (i weigh 125 pounds). my symptoms have been really bad. i'm fair and i regularly struggle from facial redness but the accutane has made it even worse. every day when i don't wear makeup i get asked if i was outside and if i'm sunburnt. my dryness has been really bad too, which makes the makeup i apply to combat my redness loo
  4. Hi, I had a smallish pustule on my chin last week, I stupidly popped it too early and it swelled to a phenomenal size. It scabbed over, the inflammation went down gradually, and I left the scab to fall off by itself to reveal a head underneath. I went and popped it easily yet it swelled again, and two days later it is still the same size and is even more red - inflammation from popping a pimple too early has never lasted this long in the past for me, so I am really panicking that this will go
  5. I'm soon to be turning 18 but I'm very confused with what's going on with me. I've seen charts called face maps, which tell you if you have acne blemish in specific areas, it could relate to something going on with your body. I looked at the face map and noticed that every spot I had a blemish in had a relation to my kidneys.. which has been easing an internal alarm for me. I'm a vegetarian, for almost an entire year and I love it. (I'm not sure if maybe that has something to do with it.
  6. So I was in Australia for three weeks on a rugby tour. However I did not take my normal proactive three step regimen (the new one with the toner) since my parents believe it to bleach sheets and they wouldn't want a billet families sheets bleached. However I did take some neutrogena applicants and a la Roche face wash. These did not clear my skin but my skin only worsened a little bit, except for my forehead and nose which began to clear on the trip. Though when I got back my skin really started
  7. Hi everyone, I need help. I still get pimples here and there but not what I used to get. I don't know if I should start the acne org regimen, because what I mostly suffer from is scars. I just ordered the aha +glycolic acid to add in my routine to help with scarring seeing that is my main product. I don't want to start the benzoyl peroxide because my skin is sensitive and I know it is very drying! Ugh, I'm unsure of what to do! Should I just get the glycolic acid wash to incorporate into my rout
  8. Hi Guys, My name is jake and I'm new to Acne.org. Basically, my story is like everyone else's. I had great skin all of high school and then one day in college BAM. I broke out with the worst cystic acne of my life. Long story short, I took Accutane for 7 months which helped clear my acne tremendously. But after I got off it, the cysts started to come back. Now I am currently eating a dairy-free diet and use Tazorac cream (.01) and I rarely break out anymore. Now all I have to deal with is my
  9. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. i am a 17 year old female and as of December of 2015, my face has been absolutely terrible! I had never gotten a single breakout before this and now it's been nonstop. A little backstory, my mother doesn't allow me to take any of the pills the dermatologist prescribes. So that is out of the question. I have been trying everthing except for antibiotics. I had large hormonal cysts only on my cheek/ jaw area and under that was many many milia. Around February, i began taking p
  10. Ok no one ever answers me on here but i will keep posting on the off chance that somebody will. So I have comedonal acne with the occasional closed comedone that becomes inflamed and turns into a huge pimple/cyst. I went on accutane for this because nothing else helped and my skin has erupted the entire course. Worst skin of my life. I understand it must purge your pores, but I am 6 months in and my skin is consistently breaking out bad. My question is, I weigh 110 and am on 60 mg per day fro
  11. I'm Min, a teen with mild to severe acne. I have exhausted all of my options except for birth control and accutane. I have whiteheads, comedones, cysts, papules, and pustules, it's all across the board. I never ever touch my face because it aches. The only place that's really kinda clear is my nose, which often gets whiteheads and comedones. I also have just whiteheads on my back. I have sensitive combination skin that's mostly dry. I've tried diet changes, antibiotics, tretinoin creams, everyth
  12. Okay, so today I was popping some pimples (I know, I really should not) and I saw a very small, red pimple. I decided to pop it, but I could not and applied lots of pressure to it. Long story short, it got really red and swelled up and I stopped trying because I didn't want to make it worse. The picture is about 15 minutes after I popped it and put some acne treatment gel (it contains 5% benzoyl peroxide). What should I do now and how do I help it get better?
  13. Hello, In the past few months my cystic acne has cleared up thanks to Gedarel 20, however I have started to develop occasional (light red?) whiteheads on my cheekbones and blackheads on my forehead (which I have never ever gotten before). I have attributed them to moisturiser (Garnier Shine Be Gone Matte) I started to use in mid-December because as soon as I eliminated it from my routine they disappeared again. In the past, during winter months for flaky skin due to the cold, I have used moist
  14. What should I do??? Is my life ruined???? Is there anyway I can have the scars go away???
  15. Hello everyone, so I'll get straight to the point. For about 2-3 years ago my skin started to show up acne behavior although i never had pimples or blackheads or stuff like that in my face. Just to point that I'm 21 years old and this started to happen after i got 17-18..At 18 i had an accident with my bicycle (I crashed and got a bit skinned on the right cheek and got some scars as you can see on picture 1). Anyways i got healed up upon time but now I'm facing this problem..I want some advises
  16. I've had these whiteheads (I think that's what they are) under my skin on my cheek for over a year now and I tried pushing them out long before but nothing came out. What are these and how do I get them out?? It's been irritating me now since it's been blemishing my face for so long. My mom suggested I get a needle and poke it out like that, but I don't think that's safe. It feels like a ball under my skin that like directly under my skin but covered up and moves it's my skin.
  17. Can anyone please tell me the best treatment for this type of scar and how many treatments you think it'll need.
