  1. Hi I have attacked a picture of my acne. I ALWAYS break out on my chin and around my mouth. About 3 months ago I went to an esthetician who recommended I use a prescribed cleanser with salicylic acid and a mattifier moisturizer. I used it for 3 months and my forehead cleared a bit but my chin had no change. I recently just changed my regimen to the following 1. Oil control foam wash by Cetaphil 2. Dickinson’s original witch hazel 3. Neutrogena oil free moisturizer for sensitive skin. Night
  2. heres a pic from earlier today, all the marks on my cheek are scars my chin has one large active cyst and the rest there is mostly scarring i have mixed up my past regimens and i dont know where to start
  3. I've been struggling with acne forever! Or so it seems.. I swear I tried everything but nothing is helping :/. I'm about to give up and just live like a pimple faced freak.. not only is acne unattractive but it really has brought my self esteem down, I don't even go out of my house much it's gotten so bad. I would love to just go out with friends again and not have to worry about my skin 24/7. I want to have a life.. is that too much to ask for?

  5. Here is my face... Unfortunately! I have had acne since I was 12, I am now 19 and still battling it. With no luck at all may I add! I have very oily acne prone skin. I have tried everything and no longer have the strength in me to continue, I just can't cope! It is destroying me mentally and physically. I have no confidence, extremely shy and I hate going out. The only reason why I am still here today is because of my boyfriend, It would crush him if something happened me. Although being
  6. Hi, this is my first post and I'm really frustrated. For about four years I've battled with acne. In 2014 my parents let me see a dermatologist, she prescripted me Accutane, which I took for about 5 months and my skin cleared up to perfection, but I stopped taking them because I got depressed and suicidal by them. After I stopped taking them my skin was clear for about a year and a half (I used an acne gel, called Skinoren). After the year and a half, I got very depressed (again) which made me b
  7. Hi all, I've been getting these dark spots and bumps on my inner thighs since I was younger, like around 6 or 7. 10 years down the line, they've worsened. It's humiliating going out. I never wear short clothing, nor do I go to the beach or anything like that because of this embarrassment. I don't wear a lot of tight clothing, I know they're not ingrown hairs because they're not painful. They're just there. Sometimes, they'll be reddish bumps, so maybe heat? Other than that, these black bumps/
  8. i had a cyst on my chin and its been 2 weeks and the cyst no longer hurts and it never came to a head. But now the lump is still there and its changed colors to purple. The top layer is dry and peels. what is this plz help me
  9. Hello everyone, I'm 18 and have always had moderate acne on and off, but in the past two years its been more on than ever. I have sensitive skin that can also get pretty oily. Most of my acne is on my forehead and then the rest is on my jawline and I get some pimples above my lips sometimes. Anyways My forehead acne are mostly small bumps and one or two big pimples but they are mostly on the surface but get pretty red. My jawline acne on the other hand is more deep in my skin and doesn't get a
  10. I'm pretty much having a breakdown here. My skin has never, ever been this bad in my entire life. Let me tell you a bit about my skincare routine and how my skin is. My skin is very sensitive and very dry. I have had acne for the past 6 years now and it's been absolutely horrible, because no one (and I literally mean no one) else in my school had it, and remarks such as "just get proactive" would be made, and whenever a girl complained about having the occasional pimple, it made me feel horr
  11. HEY GUYS. This is my first, of I'm sure many, blog posts about my journey with Accutane. Like most of you, I've had stubborn acne on and off for the last few years and it just recently become a huge downer. SO, I took to the dermatologist to get the tough stuff, and tough stuff he gave. I only ever break out on my chin, but the last 6-8 months it just became unbearable. I've been on 40 MG of Accutane for 15 days now. This past week I had a brutal break out (3-4 cysts on my chin) that
  12. Helll, Im Victor So at first I was doing the regimen system with drug store products, I was using 10% BP neutrogena cream. I've recently ( 2 weeks) been using the actual regimen products. Im using 2 pumps of BP. My skin is very irriated and dry and I look burnt. Is this normal? Please help me, I need answers.
  13. So I popped this pimple and it was hard before I popped it, but after I popped it, it was still hard? Is there more pus in it, or what? How long until you think it might go away?
  14. It really is. I don't feel like I'm living 100% of the life I could be living, because of acne. It's controlling my life. It takes up so much time. Putting on makeup, removing it, applying skin care products, etc. I used to be able to get ready in 15 minutes. Sometimes I don't get out of bed for so long when I can sleep in because I dread putting on makeup.. Also all the time I put into researching skincare and just straight-up crying. It controls what I eat, too. So many of my favorite f
  15. Hey. So I've had this mark on my arm for a few years (probably since 2012) I don't remember it emerging I just remember noticing it one day. I ask my dermatologist one day, out of context of the appointment. She took a brief look with her magnifying glass and diagnosed it as "blood vessels near the surface." No one notices it but I don't like how it looks. It's like a small semi- circle of a blotchy, maroon, mark in the middle of my lower arm. Is there any way to diminish the looks of it? I kno
  16. I am a 20 year old female and I have been to my first ever dermatologist appointment on October 3, where my doctor had prescribed me aczone gel. The only issue was my insurance doesn't cover it! And after waiting a week I was denied the gel because there are other things that my insurance covers that can "treat" me. I go back to my dermatologist on November 7 and I'm only looking for a topical from my dermatologist. I REFUSE to take any type of oral medication! I am taking probiotics and eating
  17. I've attached the pics. I have struggled with acne since the beginning of high school, it only seems to get worse and worse no matter what I do. I've tried going to derms but all they do is prescribe BP which personally I think just damages my face even more (I've tried it for a long time before and it helps with actual acne but my problem are these scars). At first it started with only my nose, then it went to my left cheek and now it has spread throughout my jaw, both cheeks, nose, etc. Th
