  1. I have been on accutane 40 mg 1 a day for two days. The first day I experienced mild brain fog and pressure headaches but I thought it was just the drug kicking in. Today I have experienced fatigue, brain fog, loss of vision, nausea, loss of balance, and extreme pressure headaches. Do I find a way to combat this while still taking accutane, or do I stop accutane altogether. My acne started in high school my senior year. I found that I have had leaky gut and candida in my gut. I have been eating
  2. Hey everyone!!I've had moderate acne for the past 4 years and after endless medications and prescriptions I have built up the courage to go on Accutane! I've read so so many threads and logs and so many people have had great results! For the past 3 months this summer my acne took a turn for the worst after I got bronchitis and had to take a lot of medication (i thought antibiotics would help me??). Anyway, I've been even more depressed than usual and I barely leave the house so I don't pigment m
  3. Hi everyone! Newbie to acne.org here. I was drawn to this site because of this thread: I read so many comments on there about Isotherapy for reversing the damage of Accutane but haven't found any information on how to actually do it. Was wondering if anyone out there has done it successfully and could tell me how to do it. Any other information on getting accutane out of my system would be greatly appreciated. I've taken three rounds of it and have both IBS and TERRIBLE constant migra
  4. I have been on accutane for about 4 months now, I'm 5'3 110 pounds so I take 40 mg per day. Recently I have been experiencing frequent headaches. I am wondering if this is a side effect of accutane and what sort of risks are associated with these headaches. I was having mild headaches at the beginning of my treatment so I never mentioned it to my dermotologist, but I'm a bit worried now.
  5. Hey Guys, Today is day 7 on Claravis and to be honest I haven't experienced much change with my acne. Today my lips have started peeling, I have been using Aquaphor everyday since I started taking the pill but I know its inevitable, I will have dry lips (ohh please pray for me). I do want to ask if anyone has experienced night sweats, last night was the second time, with the AC on I woke up sweating profusely which scared me. And last night I also had the worst headache I've ever had, the pai
  6. I began to struggle with acne when I was about 15 years old. During my senior year of high school, I was started on my first dose of Accutane, which was successful in clearing my acne. However, I had to stop taking the medication after 5 months because I was experiencing severe irritability and depression. I experienced terrible panic attacks for the next four years, and my acne returned, full force. During my senior year of college, I reluctantly chose to go on Accutane once again.
  7. I started Claravis about 3 weeks ago and I have nowhere else to turn to until November 8th. I know headaches on Accutane are to be expected but mine were very severe from the get-go. I felt like crying every night. The sensitivity to light was there, and very bad eye pain. It felt almost like i had the flu, but no stuffy nose with it. My derm doesn't seem to care, they are the most unprofessional office I have ever seen, so I am switching derms, but I have to wait about a month and I am re
  8. Hi there, The past month waiting has been hell for me, constantly worrying about starting Accutane. I'm in my mid 20's and have suffered from acne that won't go away since I was a teenager. I'm scared to death to start this drug tonight because I get chronic migraines and almost every single review I've read online, people reported really, really bad headaches. I weigh around 230 lbs and I was prescribed 40mg Claravis for the first month. I'm scared to death to start taking this. Liter
  9. About me: 21 yrs old, 128 lbs, moderate acne Since 13 yo I have had moderate acne and was put on doxycycline which i grew resistant to after 3 years and then was put on Bactrium for 4 years until i got resistant to that antibiotic and developed severe cystic acne. My family doctor then sent me to a derm where he put me on accutane at 30 mg a day. The forst two weeks i had 1 bad IB that itched like crazy and covered my face in whiteheads, i had bach pain and dryness of lips and face. After two we
  10. I just started Spiro 50mg on Monday night. I have been getting horrible headaches. I dunno if it is related to the flu bug going around of the Spiro I have been drinking tons of water to make sure I'm hydrated and that doesnt seem to be helping. I already normally suffer from horrible migraines but it is very controlled I take Topamax every day so I almost never get them. Anyone else getting headaches like this on Spiro?? I feel like my head is gonna split in half the past few days..
  11. Hi, I just started the Regimen today. I just did my second wash & treatment for the day, and both times doing it I noticed I seem to get sharp pains on the right side of my head right after. After a bit it went away, but happened again just like the first time. Has anyone else experienced headaches when using this, and do they go away?
  12. I guess the main reason I'm on Accutane is because my brother and sister both went on it, though they were a little older than me when they did it. My mom did it back in the day, but she waited too long and still has pretty bad scarring from her acne, though i don't notice because she's tan and always beautiful. I'm 16 and at the end of my sophomore year of highschool. My acne never used to be bad, and I'd always be so proud because I didn't think I'd take after my siblings, who both had the mos
  13. Hi, any advice accutane users have to offer is MUCH APPRECIATED. Started my first day of accutane (80 mgs/day) last friday, 4 days ago. Sunday morning and this morning, I woke up with pretty bad headaches. The one yesterday went away quickly, however, today the pain lasted for a few hours until I took a tylenol. Also, today I felt nauseous along with the headache. I feel MUCH better now and the pain and nausea has gone away. I have been drinking A LOT of water today and feel like that may
