  1. I've had acne for around 4 years. It's been gradually lessening this past year, but I have these really weird things on the nose-side part of my cheeks. Like, the vertical strips (but not skinny, medium thickness) of skin next to my nose. Maybe they're pores, but they're ridiculously huge and impossible to get rid of, at least with whatever I've tried: cleanser, moisturizer, epiduo, clindamycin is my regimen. http://imgur.com/a/RfATI These are it. How do I close them up? I heard S
  2. I was clear for a few days and then this odd-looking pimple/cyst started forming on my chin a few days ago. There's this solid yellow mass in the middle, and it looked so close to the surface that I decided against my better judgment to try to pop it a couple days ago. I first tried with my fingers, and nothing came out, so I got desperate enough to try to lance it with a needle (bad idea, I know). I thought, even if this left a scar, at least the contents of the spot would be drained and I woul
  3. Hi all, I wanted to share the solution that finally worked for me. I've been plagued by acne on my head and neck for the past year, it started for no apparent reason that I could see. I tried anti dandruff shampoo, showering twice a day, changing my diet, etc. and no dice. Everything I read said the problem could be fungal, bacterial or other so I decided to just try a shampoo that was both antibacterial and antifungal, within a week the spots and lumps on my head cleared up - I'm well pl
  4. Hi, I'm a 39 year old male and for the past two years have been getting a spot on my nose every so often. It's a general redness right on the tip of my nose that sometimes has small white liquid filled spots. I've attached a picture, is it acne? If so, what's the best way to deal with it? I've also attached some pics of the back of my head. I'm a baldy and get little spots all over my head. When I shave these can get torn and bleed. I live in a hot, humid climate, but I'm from a tempe
  5. Scalp Acne

Introduction to Scalp Acne Acne can occur on the scalp much like it can on the face and on the rest of the body. However, the scalp can be harder to treat topically because the hair gets in the way. The good news is that scalp acne is often much less noticeable because the hair covers its appearance. Many people get occasional pimples on the scalp and simply let them be. While lesions on the scalp...
  6. A few days ago a small zit between my temple and eye evolved into a monstrous knot. It's hard and round (a out the size od a dime or penny), but the swelling has spread to my eye (in the morning ings, my upper eye lid is puffy, but under my eye remains puffy and sometimes bruised). The sore is HARD and very painful, red, and a whitish scabby crater thing on top. I've put alcohol, moisturizer, generic acne wash, heat, ice... but it doesn't seem to phase it. But itt HURTS. It may be infected (
  7. 1. Hello im 23 years old male. Have this problem with acne more than 1.5 years. In the past i was acne free but suddenly about year and a half, maybe more on my right side of head there was little bump. I think in the beginning that that its some normal ache, but after 3-4 days it was growing. 2. I went on doctor and he said that is fat tissue and it must be done some draining or to be removed with operation. I went on operation and its removed with scalper and there were 4 strings (medical). D
  8. How does a cystic acne lession subside and go away? I've heard that they turn into a head, then you pop them, but with severe acne, i just get pimples and the lot, then remove wat ever heads I have with a needle. I don't really remember detail of each of my pimples. I've heard of using aspirin to turn cysts to heads in 2 days, but I'm unsure of trying this as some home remedies I've used on cystic acne just made them worse. Does this work? and are there other treatments that will actually t
  9. Hello, im 15 years old and i do not experience crazy acne, but i have these kind of colorless bumps on my forehead and I've had them for quiet sometime i want to say maybe 2 years. they haven't gone away and i don't know why. I have dry skin for the most part but sometimes my forehead gets oily from my moisturizer but if i don't moisturize its too dry. I read somewhere that maybe the oil and dandruff from my hair could be a cause of this so i started to use dandruff shampoo on my clarasonic for
  10. What does it mean when a pimple comes to a head? I have two that were red bumps, but now they're big and have come to a huge head! And no, I won't be popping them. That never works out for me.. Haha Why do most people want their pimples to come to a head? I know some people like for them to come to a head just to pop them, but is there any other reason? Thanks!
