  1. I am happy to report that since my last post I have had no MAJOR picking sessions...I am still breaking out all on my forehead and have been compelled to do some damage control but overall I've not felt the need to lock myself in the house for the next week whilst it settles down...huh in fairness I did go to town on a spot on the side of my head and it's very red, very scabby and hard to cover, which makes me realise that I'm more affected by my acne depending on where it is on my face...if the
  2. Hello, I've been having heavy acne (comedones absolutely everywhere on the body and face, cysts primarily on neck, chest and upper back and along the length of the spine). I've tried for a long time benzoyl peroxide, combined antibiotics, antifungal medication, tretinoin, glicolyc acid, salicylic acid, different alcohols, sulfur, supplements(zinc, magnesium, vitamin d3, probiotics, vitamin B complex), I've spent an absurd amount of money, effort and pain and never got a permanent result or eve
  3. Hey there, I've always had mild body acne, mostly on my back, but currently I'm going through a pretty bad breakout for some reason. I was using Head and Shoulders for my back, but since it didn't seem to be working I tried switching to the Panoxyl 10% bar. I don't seem to be having much luck with that either. Has anyone tried using both Head and Shoulders and Panoxyl at the same time? I realize it might be a little drying, but it seems like this might work to combat both regular acne an

    Start Of Success?

So I can't tell if the new regimen is actually working or if I'm just imagining things! It's way too early to decide either way yet but I'm feeling a little more optimistic than usual so I'm quite happy to go along with it even if it is just the placebo effect. In terms of breakouts (touch wood) I've had one very insignificant-not worth picking spot and had an already-formed clogged pore dry up which I scratched off and then upon inspection saw the little plug which I managed to GENTLY squeeze o
  5. hello everyone i have recently gone to my local supermarket and bought myself a big bottle of head and shoulders shampoo, after seeing a topic that was posted on this site some years ago saying that it cleared their mild acne, so i though maybe it will clear mine!? it seems to dry my skin a little and it feels tight asif maybe its tightened all of my pores? today is day 3 of washing my face with it once in the morning and once at night and i have had no new breakouts so far and my skin is soo
  6. quick history: Ive had moderate to severe body acne since i was about 14 and am now almost 19. I used to have it bad on my face but about two years ago it just cleared up and was no longer a problem. But still had horrible body acne. I tried EVERYTHING i could think of. I changed my diet, cut out all dairy, drank plenty of water, took vitamins and tried all the acne products out there. Nothing. Finally I found out how to clear my body acne and its thanks to head and shoulders. This is what I
  7. 4Weeks washing my face with head and shoulders shampoo and 2Weeks using glycerin as a moisturizer at night!!!so happy:-)
  8. (First of all - hi. I'm Kitten. Nice to meet you! ) Quick background info on my skin. I have had bacne and chest acne for like... 3 years now? So I have a lot of sucky scars and stuff. Unfortunately, all the doctors will give me are rubbish antibiotics that do not work (Oxytetracyline and Erothromycin - spelt wrong!). I have never had facial acne, my face is pretty clear apart from the odd teenage spot. So I have to be thankful for that. On a scale of low to severe, my acne is medium. The
  9. April 7th: Hi everyone just to let you all know that I've changed my regimen again it's down the bottom of this post as "Update 2 " Please read my story and stuff just a few lines down...I'm aware it's pretty long but you might get some valuable info and whatnot okay thanks and good luck UPDATE IS DOWN THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST!! THANKS Okay hello to everyone who reads this, welcome! I'm a 17 year old male looking to get rid of acne once and for all. I've set March as my goal but as
  10. I apologize for the length, but I hope it helps. One thing I always told myself was if I ever came up with a routine that works, I would post it on this website. Acne.org has been my go to for over 6 years, but unfortunately I've never had any luck after reading countless threads. I'm currently 31 (white, male, 170lbs, 5'11”) and I've had back acne since I was 26 (no facial acne). The acne was all over the place and some was cystic in the lower back. Consistently over the last 4 months, I've
  11. I'm in a bit of a predicament...I've found something that seems to be keeping my acne under control, but I just don't know if it's worth the possible consequences. Like many people on this site, I have been around the block with all kinds of products and there are very few out there I haven't tried. Nothing really seemed to help, and Ihcame to the conclusion that my "acne" is caused by an overabundance of fungus. I have very oily skin, and I get cystic like bumps on my forehead that just be
