  1. I was just wondering, as imbalanced hormones can cause or be a major cause in peoples acne, how does one figure out if it is an imbalance in hormones that is causing their acne? are there tests that can be done to tell? and once you know if you do have an imbalance in hormones, how do you treat it so it wont affect your skin anymore? Please let me know!
  2. Ok so when i was in eight grade I had this rash/acne (I don't know which) on both of my cheeks. I remember it being really red. Now it is scarred like little black bumps (it have since gone away). Im now in 11th grade and am getting fed up with it. I don't know what it is or anything. Ive been to the demonologist, but I don't remember what they called it, they kind of just brushed it off and told me theres nothing I can really do but wait. So I'm asking does anyone recognize it or have any idea
  3. Being only 17 and male, and getting told by my mum and 2 doctors that this is probably just puberty causing my acne, I was wondering ... how do you know if it's because of puberty? If it was, wouldn't I have gotten it at 15? I mean, I got about 2 - 3 tiny pimples every 3 months last year. My voice broke at about 14, had a growth spurt at 15 or something, but I didn't grow body hair, such as under my arms or the low part of my stomach (snail trail) till the start of this year. And thats when I
  4. How far would you go, just for perfect skin? Thought I'd make a thread just to see how far everyone would go to have completely clear skin, no acne, no scars, no hyper pigmentation, just 100% clear! For example, if you had quite severe nodulocystic acne, would you choose to endure something like 5 years in jail just to come out with flawless skin for the rest of your life? It's gonna be interesting to see what people will come up with, be as creative as you can!!
  5. This is going to be a fairly detailed post so anyone who really knows what they're talking about, please post. I only developed noticable acne around halfway through my age of 17. I am currently 18, so I've only had acne for about 7 months. My diet beforehand and for most of my younger life was bad, mainly consisting of junk food like Mcdonalds every week, junk food and meat every now and then and mostly bread etc and soft drink, I did sometimes have vegetables (sometimes.) I used to get a p
