    Green Tea Pills

I just bought some Green Tea supplement pills, and they contain 630 mg of green tea in each serving. They also contain 25mg of Hoodia in each serving. It says to take 2 capsules twice daily. I know a lot of people on this board drink a lot of green tea, and have good results with it. I'm just wondering if I'll get good results at this dose, or if I should take more. I've read that some people on here drink 10 or more cups of green tea a day, but I just can't. I like tea, but one cup a day at the
  3. Ok... YESTERDAY in a frantic moment I went out and dropped $200 on this little thing that sounds like a ridiculous idea called ZENO (see my thread asking about purchase locations in Canada). They said I could return it if it didn't work so I went for the attempt. My background.....combination skin.....my face is normally pretty clear except for the odd pimple every few weeks, I used to have pretty regular mild acne which was a mixture of small pimples to the 'undergrounders' in the chin area ev
  4. Hey, summers here and I want to protect my skin so i bought simple sun lotion for all over. It's fragrance free and has green tea in etc... but for ymf ace it's too greays unless I run it in REALLY well wich if eel will compromise protection. They also do one especially for the face without the Beeswax in... would this be any better? My questions are is anyone else using this? I'm in the UK what other sun creams would be good for my face?

    HOT!

I was thinking about getting this: http://www.amazon.com/Conair-Complete-Faci...s/dp/B00005A9WP Before I buy something potentially useless, what's the consensus on steaming one's face? I would use it prior to this crazy diy mask i'm in love with and pore strips. So, about once a week. I usually would just dump boiling hot green tea into a salad bowl and hover over it with a towel over my head. Is there any reason for me to believe that I'm doing more harm that good?
  7. I suffer from mild acne..I guess. It started when I was about 14 or 15, I'm now 17 and it's got worse over the years. At first, it was just a small patch between my eyes and the odd pimple on my cheeks or chin. I ate junk food, I rubbed, I scrubbed, I picked, I pecked, and I made it all worse. I had very little/no experiance of how to cope with acne, so can you blame me. Anyway..now, I'm trying to make up for my sins. I have some pimples on my forehead, and hairline, sides of my mouth, my chi
  8. I have had acne for about 10 years now. A lot of my way of life as revolved around acne. I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any idea what I could try??? My daily diet: Glass of water when waking. Museli and yoghurt for breakfast. Green Tea Snacks consisting of fruit, sunflower seeds and almonds. Tuna on RYE bread for lunch. Chicken or fish with steamed vegetables for dinner. I only drink water and green tea. I dont eat take away. I dont smoke. I exercise at l

How long will this go on

Maybe i just need a place to vent but this sucks. I feel that I would be such a moere confident and better person if i had clear skin. Maybe thats a bad thing to say but its the truth. It affects me at school, with girls, with everything. I think if i had clear skin my life would be different. the only thing that seemed to work for me was minocycline but then it seemed to stop working so well. I am back on it now and it seems to be working but not as well. I have tried mixing in some sasylic aci

Do u think Green Tea would affect the regimen ?
  12. I thought I would start a log to keep track of what I was doing, not only for myself but if this stuff works, maybe someone else will be inspired to try my regime. So although Im a bit new to this messageboard, Ive been browsing the site for about a year. Ive tried the BP regime, it worked exactly like Proactiv, and I felt trapped, if I missed one day Id breakout like crazy. Its a vicious cycle. Ive been on Accutane (im one of the nightmare victims of this pill) Ive tried Perricone, birth con
  13. Tea Tree Oil and Green Tea are the only herbs clinically proven to work, but which one is better and what is the difference? This may sound stupid, but is the Tea Tree oil actually a tea like the Green Tea is? I only see it as an ingrediant in creams or something. I would rather have a drink than a cream becuase I am using enough topicals, plus I want to use it as a substitute for coffee. How much do you drink of either of these two? What brand is the best and has anyone had any success? Any ini
  14. I've had acne since middle school, and I'm now a college sophomore. Needless to say, it's been a nuisance. I've been on Accutane twice, both times during high school; each was very helpful, but some degree of acne came back. For the last year I've had mild acne, kept that way with minocycline (which seems to be effective for me, but I'd certainly prefer not to use it in the long term due to the risk of side effects), Differin (I tried Tazorac, but it was too harsh for my skin), and various ot

  16. Hi guys, I am new to this board. I have been lurking for quite some time now and decided to join and share my story with ya'll so perhaps I could get some tips or anyone out there who can relate to my story.Anyway here we go. I am a sixteen year old dude and have been dealing with acne since my 13-14th. Luckily I've never gotten to the stage where I could call it real severe.I have rarely gotten any huge cysts throughout the years, mostly mild pimples and major redness. I have tried tons of p
  17. Hey all, Today while strolling through town i went into a Chinese herbal place where they sell all natural products. Anyway, i asked if they had any medicine for acne and she did. They are these tablets which need to be taken 1 (15 times a day), there are 200 in this bottle and apparently she said they cure acne as they work from the 'inside out' she also recommended green tea which i have read on here people have been having good results from. So im thinking that she may be right (by the way s

  19. I don't really know what type of acne I have, its a bunch of flesh colored bumps with blackheads, occasional small whiteheads and about once a week I'll have a large red bump that is really hard and sore that eventually turns into the mother of all whiteheads. The blackheads give my face a really uneven look and I can't get rid of them no matter what i try does anyone know anything about this>? But I've pretty much tried every type of over the counter acne cleanser, scrub, etc. and nothing
  20. I bought some new face wash/toner/mouisturizer and wanted to see if anyone caught an ingredient in them that might irritate my face. Face wash: Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauramide DEA, PEG-40, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Chamomile Flower Extract, Sage Flower Extract, Nettle Flower Extract, Rosemary Flower Extract, Aloe Root Oil, Comfrey Flower Extract, Cucumber Root Extract, Wild Rose Flower Extract, Witch Hazel Flower Extract, Sodiu

  22. I ordered a whole bunch of white tea online after I heard read this... http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2004/...40526070934.htm I've been drinking this stuff for 2 weeks straight, and I can honestly say no new acne has formed. I drink 3 or 4 (sometimes 5, this stuff is good, lol) cups a day and it's clearing me really nicely! I've read a few different things about how it has 5 (some say 100) times the antioxidants of green tea. If anyone has any thoughts on this stuff, I'd like to hea
  23. In order to get good results with my acne, how do I brew a good cup of green iced tea? I am thinking about brewing some in the morning, putting it in a water bottle, and then taking it to school with me to drink. Thnx.
  24. I want to recommend my customized proactiv regime to everyone! I have only used it for a few days and my acne is starting to clear up. Its time consuming to use it but so far its been worth it. These are the steps u take in order for best results while using it: Morning (7-8am): 1. Lightly rinse your face off with water 2. use proactive cleanser then rinse your face and dry 3. put proactive toner on a cotton pad and rub it on your face; let it dry for 10 seconds. 4. Rub a thin lair of
