  1. Hey guys, I have some questions about food/diet. So the daily recommended amount of sugar intake is around 35g. It seems grams of sugar stack up so quickly in foods, especially in fruits. A single apple has about 12g of sugar. But apples supposively help with leveling blood sugar/glucose levels. Can someone help me understand this a bit better? On this topic, what about those cleanses (such as Antony's on here) where you eat nothing but apples? On these, you eat 12-16 apples per day fo
  2. People on this forum say "avoid grains" and i agree, but are all grains bad? I know some grains can contain gluten which does cause problems for me but what else is there in the grains like rice or buckwheat which make them bad for acne? If we don't take the GI of foods into account.

Dairy and grains are probably the biggest food groups in acne causing, and people find great success in eliminating them, but some people cannot live without carbs (such as me).I wanted to start a topic where people post grain and dairy foods that are either very good or very bad for acne-prone people. I'm going to start with 'Quaker old fashioned oats' which do not cause me to break out, and make me feel good and energized. A bad grain that makes me breakout within hours is any 'refined flour'.
  5. So i went hardcore paleo for about 2 months, while juicing with a NutriNinja extractor twice a day. I also only ate chicken or fish meat every other day. For breakfast i would rotate every other day between either an egg breakfast or a breakfast of something i baked with coconut flour such as pancakes. For lunch everyday still, i eat a good size salad with a handful of nuts and my homemade ranch dressing. Then for supper i will maybe have chicken or fish with a crap load of sauteed veggies such
