I'm very fair skinned & burn easily as is so I decided to cut back on it to every second day I woke up with 4 spots today like the white head on the surface ones and they were small so who cares? ? I think I won't skip it again though .. I'm going to mi it with a moisturiser every second night I also went to clinique I was looking at the anti blemish rang
  2. I have moderate acne, where my face just as a couple of white heads, and the rest are just red dots. I use honey as a face wash, and drink a lot of water and green tea. No caffeine for me. I take vitamin e and fish oil, but lately it hasn't gotten where i want my face to be. I used to wear bare minerals face makeup, then stopped for a year (still had clear skin). Im thinking i should start back up, because my face is bad, and minerals are good for your face. Any thoughts???
  3. Hey guys! Okay, so here's the thing. I barely have any acne, just stupid closed comedones! They piss me off and really bother me. I heard clay masks were good for them. But which ones? Please only recommend one if you have tried it and it worked. Thank you!
  4. Now on day 22, and here are some pictures because ive been wondering... is it working? Is my acne an okay amount at this stage? Ive had my intial breakout and it was HORRIBLE! 6. ok, So I've been using the 3 steps regimen for about 1 month. My skin cleared up, no breakouts, only have few scars on my forehead, but the only thing that's bothering me now, is after using this regimen, my face is getting darker and darker, don't really know what to do. but it's been awesome so far!!! if you haven't try it. YOU SHOULD!!
  7. Until of yesterday, my trusty #1 non-drying face wash was Avene's cleanance, I was sure that there's no wash like it, smooth and nice, but yesterday morning my very last drop of it came to an end, so my mom went to her work and wanted to buy me a new one (my mom works in a pharmacy-drugstore) so she didn't find it on the shelves (does this happen to you too ?) So she looked at the ingredients for the very best of them, so she found this little green nice pump bottle, lurking in the shadows of al
  8. This new cheese I saw on Shark Tank called Heidi Ho Cheese (Organic). This is very special cheese. It actually tastes super good (just watch the episode, they couldn't stop eating it), and it's vegan, which means dairy free! This is special because usually vegan cheese tastes like crap from what I've heard. They have multiple flavors, too: Creamy Chia Cheese; Spicy! Chia Cheese; Smoky Chia Cheese; Ne Chèvre - Pure; Ne Chèvre - Black Lava; Ne Chèvre - Blueberry Go to the link below
  9. Can I use a facial cleanser with sodium laureate sulphate? What does SLS do for the skin? And a lot of people suggest CeraVe facial cleanser but if you check the ingredients, it contains parabens. I really want to try this new cleanser but it contains SLS so can I still use it? (I have oily acne prone skin)
  10. I really believe that these two topicals are working. My only issue is the skin peeling and the burning sensation when I attempt to put anything hydrating. Yes, I understand this is supposed to happen, but it just hurts SO BAD. I'm using a gentle cleanser like Cerave, and it still burns. Peeling as of right now isn't as bad as before. I only have a few break outs and then the rest is small. I am still wanting to go on accutane even though this is helping, I'm worried that it's going to be too la
  11. Today is the most confident and radiant I have felt in years without my full coverage make up... Tonight I am wearing a tinted moisturizer with some mineral powder on top, and some blush. I feel so good about my skin. It is really healing up and I am proud of myself. Let's see where I will be in another few weeks. )
  12. Hi, I purchased an La Roche Posay Effaclar 3 pack at Walgreens for 29.99 which included a cleanser, astringent and spot treatment. I have cystic acne and already am using Tazorac and Retin-A from my dermatologist, however this Effaclar, in only 4 days of use has highly improved the tone of my skin, the existence of blackheads, and the size of my cysts. It uses salicylic acid with a delivery system is LHA and has BPO with a delivery system of LHA as well. If you're nice to the Walgreens pers
  13. First of all, I'd like to say that I've already noticed the irony of my username. I know this is easier said than done, but the overbearing negativity in this section of the forum is very destructive to some people's perception of themselves. When people go to this site, they do so for support and for good vibes. They are most likely down about their acne and are actively looking for solutions. In the meantime, when one clicks on this section, he or she shouldn't have to be bombarded with topic
  14. Hi im Daniel and I am 15 years old, I think I have bad acne and Its really afftecting my confidence. I would just like to know how bad my acne really is. If you like you could drop a rate and some comment or advice in how to treat it/
  15. So i have been using the regimen for about 2 months now and it works great! But before i continue i'd like to provide a little information on my acne and what i've been using. I have had mild acne since around 8th grade. I have used many acne products such as cetaphil and oxy along with prescriptions from my dermatologist that included things like Zianna (it was terrible DO NOT USE), RetinA and Doxycycline oral pills. About 4 o months ago i read about the Acne.org Regime, since i was intereste
  16. Hi, this is pretty much my first real post. Anyways, I wanted to share my thoughts on this kid at school who has it pretty bad. Cystic acne/nodules cover his face and I find it hard to look him in the eye. What I am seeking advice on however, is weather to feel bad for him or not. This kid was really mean to me in middle school and pretty much a jerk to everyone except his groupie friends. Did he have this coming to him? He is really quite shy nowadays and I just don't know. Any input wou
  17. So I'm 17 (guy) and I saw a dermatologist and he said I have very minor acne (the lower end of the scale) and I'm mainly getting acne because of just teenage hormones, which is apparently normal. He prescribed me a few things, and I made up a regimen and I wanted to ask what your opinion on it is? Morning: Breakfast, generally just eggs, toast or cereal (Rice milk, I can't have dairy) Take all my medication which is just vitamins. Drink 800ml of water. Use QV face cleanser and massage o
