  1. I've started using AHA+ / glycolic acid this week after being on the regimen for a month as recommended. My skin was so clear and smooth before introducing the AHA and now it's really red and I've had a breakout. Is this normal? Did this happen to anyone else too? I've been really strict with the regimen, following all the steps etc. I have mild to moderate acne so found that it cleared really quickly. I'm now worried that it's got really bad again. I've been using a pump of AHA (the acne.org
  2. Hi everyone!! I am currently working on helping my acne scars and hyper pigmentation. I do have a breakout every once in a while but my routine I have created has really helped. I have cut out a lot of dairy, drink almost a gallon of water a day, and eat a lot more healthier. Although I am currently not on the acne.org regimen, as I have found it after my routine, I did just order the AHA + glycolic acid. Heres what my routine looks like - morning: wash my face with my clinique redness solutions
  3. Hey, I always read lots of reviews on here before trying products so I wanted to let you guys know what seems to be working for me!My morning and night routine are the same:NO MAKE-UP WIPES OR MAKE-UP REMOVERWash face in a soft circular motion with 'Simple kind to skin refreshing facial wash gel' until all make-up is gone.Gently pat dry.Wipe face gently with a 'Nip+Fab glycolic fix daily cleansing pad.'Wait for 5 minutes.Apply a thin layer of 'Acnecide 5% benzoyl peroxide gel.'Wait for 15 minute
  4. After some time, I faced the fact that Dove is not what it used to be. I find it irritating and drying as well as pore clogging. This really bums me out, I had an emotional thing with Dove Beauty Bar. Anyway, I found that I am fairly reactive to a lot of common things in cleansers. I can't handle cerave stuff, especially the lotion or cream. For me, nicinamide makes my skin very angry. I did some research and found out about a cleanser made by a company called Pharmaceutical Specialties, the
  5. I have 2 problems : 1- under skin acne bumps mainly on my cheeks 2- rash or discoloration on the cheeks ( same area ) I went to a dermatologist and he prescribed me Doxycycline 200mg/day and Vitamin c . I believe that is for the bumps only right ? it will not solve the pigmentation . I am thinking that I can start using Glycolic Acid cream 5% and then go for the 10% , will be that okay or I should wait until all acne is cleared up ?
  6. Hi everyone! this is my first time on this website. I have been suffering from acne for years. In December I had two syringes of Bellafill injected for my scars (w did that hurt) And am still dealing with scars and hyper pigmentation. Currently, I do have a few pimples, but it may be a purging period because I have started using ACV as a toner (diluted 50/50 with water, does anyone else experience this??) Currently, my routine includes, washing my face in the morning, toning with ACV mixture, a
  7. Hello, So I have started using the acne.org regimen and I'm seeing slow but progressive improvements! I live in the U.K and the product is very expensive to get shipped all the way from San Francisco! Can anyone who lives in the U.K give me any recommendations on where I can buy things like 2.5% benzoyl peroxide or the 10% glycolic acid? I'm pretty sure I can get them somewhere but don't know where to shop for them. Any recommendations are welcome!!
  8. Hey, I was wondering if anyone has tried the Cane and Austin Acne Treatment Pads? They contains 2% active Salicylic acid 5% Glycolic Acid to clean pores and exfoliate the skin. I have tried salicylic acid porducts before and they haven't worked but I was wondering if this would be better as it contains the glycolic acid as well? thanks for reading
  9. So Ive been on the regimen for a month now & Ive used glycolic acid about twice between 3 days & Ive noticed my acne and marks have gotten darker? Is that normal? and why did that happen?
  10. Helllo, Side note, this is my first post so i hope that i'm posting in the correct place! I've suffered with debilitating acne since the age of 15 but was always told "Don't worry, you'll grow out of it!" Unsuprisingly to me, I haven't... i'm 22 now and still have a face like a pizza. I feel as though i have tried every route imaginable, and no product or pill has helped me long term. I've been prescribed numerous antibiotics when i was younger, along with a multitude of topical treatment
