  1. Just thought I'd share this, particularly for any vegetarians out there. After 10+ years of taking prescription medication (Oracea, Benzaclin, Differin, etc), I'm now completely clear six weeks after eliminating my gluten consumption. I now realize that the annoying cysts I was getting were the result of toxins that gluten was introducing into my bloodstream. For any vegetarians out there, you may want to pay particular attention to the mock meats in your diet. To my surprise, 90% of the m
  2. I'm thinking of beginning the over-the counter version of the regimen, but I'm wondering if anyone has heard of the Keys Island Rx Foaming cleanser. I've been using it and I really like it, but I'm not sure how it will interact with the benzoperoxide part of the regimen. I've been taking Vitex and I think that's been making a significant difference (as well as Krill oil and Juice Plus). http://www.natureofbeauty.com/keys-islandrx.html Any comments or feedback would be greatly appreciat
  3. Hey guys, I'm new to this website but I was hoping to get some feedback regarding gluten-free/dairy-free diets. A little background about me: Skip to the end if you're not interested in hearing my long, boring acne story! I'm twenty years old and up until seven to eight months ago I had never struggled with acne. I always took very good care of my skin (which tends to be on the drier side) and neither of my parents struggled with acne growing up so I never imagined that I would be going throu
  4. Hi all, really sorry if this post has been done before. I've done so much research on this, spent hours on these forums for help/hope/advice but I decided it would be best if I just started a thread so I could maybe get some direct help. Basically for the past year and a half, almost two years, I've had a very stubborn bunch of closed comedones on my chin. It's sort of like a red blotch, until I smile or stretch the skin and it gets redder and you can see loads of small white granules - embe
  5. Hi All, This is especially for the ladies. On birth control to control skin? Come off BC only to be greeted a couple of months later with cystic acne along jaw line? Then back on to BC again? Considering Accutane to get off BC so you can have babies? LOL. Maybe displaying some PCOS symtpoms...acne, hirsuitism, hair thinning, weight gain? Persitent adult acne. OK. So, after being a slave to all sorts of remedies and temporary solutions, treatments and lotions, I think I may have finally

    January Regimen 2012

January update, changes in italics I'm 95% clear... a few non-inflamed blemishes (around hairline, between brows, and chin) and 2 healing spots, 5 red marks. I don't want to clog up my signature with my routine, diet, etc. What's working for me right now, the diet and supplements is something I'd be doing if it helped my acne or not (fortunately, it does): Diet- Vegan, gluten-free, avoid soy, avoiding IgG response foods (19 total) Rice protein every morning Supplements- Mu
  7. I had one of those horrible, crushing mornings. I tried styling my hair 3-4 different ways. I tried on different tops, bottoms, scarves and shoes, but no item of clothing did anything to relieve me of the shame and sense of vulnerability (like being naked, ironically) that my bad skin gives me. I stopped, looked in the mirror and started sobbing. Of course, the tears streaming down my face smudged my makeup. I have hormonal cystic acne along my jaw, lower cheeks and chin. Despite my best effor
