  1. A place for little good to know things. Because I just came across a good one: Sniff Test to tell if Oil is Rancid Check all commercial products made with oil for toxicity before you eat them by doing the “oil sniff test.” If the oil is rancid, it’ll smell similar to oil paint, which is actually oxidized linseed oil. If you get a hint of this odor in anything that has fat content, whether it’s nuts, whole-wheat flour or oils themselves, don’t eat it. Rule of thumb about Antioxidants in
  2. Hey guys, So I have been thinking about this for a while and I had an interesting thought..I came across posts where people claim that excess glucose in your blood leads to more insulin secretion which in turn gives you insulin spikes and thus acne. What if this can be controlled by deep breathing? Because when you breathe, doesn't the oxygen which is inhaled react with glucose in your cells to release energy? This would mean lower levels of glucose in your blood since you are breathing a lo
  3. For most of my life I have had very clear skin and really only suffered from a few pimples during my menstrual cycle. About 5 years ago I developed severe acne on my forehead and chin. Every inch of my forehead was covered in skin colored bumps and my chin was constantly covered in large painful pimples. I also suffered from body acne which was severe and I had hundreds of bumps on the backs of my arms and even down to my forearms. Over the past 5 years I have tried several different things.

    So Far So Good

Hello, I'm taking a small break from studying. Next week I have finals and then I'll be off for the summer. I'd like to say that perhaps, only perhaps, my facial flush has improved. My face flushes when I wipe off my make up or when it is very hot outside. Before, it would be red constantly and follow a rosacea-like pattern. I am now under the care of a naturopath to get rid of the body flushing that's relentless. The ND has adviced to get an ESR and CRP test. These tests detect internal inflamm
  5. ★★★Exercise Causes Constipation!★★★ One great medical myth, prevailing for 2000 to 3000 years, is that physical exercise helps in preventing and curing constipation. This false belief is still being dogmatically propagated all over the world by practitioners of Allopathy, Ayurveda and Naturopathy, and by experts in Health Education and Sports Medicine. All therapies based on this dangerous dogma are a threat to the health of many patients. I have never found any scienti
  6. So I saw that almost everyone started to avoid junk food and sugar to stop breaking out. Ok !! It's a good thing and I'm glad that people are more conscious about nutrition and the results of our healthy are behind our food and nutrition. But I saw that the people are afraid to eat even HEALTHY FOOD. I saw topics that users don't know what to eat even more and they avoid even the vegetables and fruits. I saw comments which say that "sugar is my biggest weakness" or "I don't know what to eat
