  1. I am learning more and more about just how closely acne and diet are related. I've read a lot of books regarding nutrition and how it plays a role in either creating acne or encouraging clear skin. I never used to believe that eliminating certain foods could actually benefit skin health. I've seen it all first hand now though and I believe it more and more. Over Christmas and Thanksgiving, I indulged too much. I'm sure I'm not alone in that! It's such a hard time of year to stay on track but n
  2. It's been 6 weeks since I had an aggressive profractional treatment on my cheeks to try and treat my acne scars. I re-started my Retin A Micro regimen this past week. All signs of redness are gone but I still have some fain track marks from the procedure. I am having a hard time telling if there is any improvement. Sometimes I wonder if it actually made my scars worse (see the videos below for before and after pictures) My diet has been up and down. I did wonderful for almost a month and my
  3. Hey! I'm 16 and finally went to a dermatologist for my acne about 6 months ago. I currently use Aczone in the morning, Epiduo at night, and take 100mg of Minocycline twice a day. I also wash my face with a Gly/Sal cleanser twice a day. Anyway, I am currently very contempt with my skin and have flattened out my numerous bumps, but I have TONS of discoloration all over my face that isn't noticeable when far away (which is nice), but when up close/in a magnified mirror/in a picture, my face

Attached is what my acne looked around when it was worse and what my scars look like now. They have not gotten much better since I finished accutane. Is there anyway to at least reduce the redness? Thank you
  5. Hello all, I thought that I would share my personal way I have gotten rid of my cystic acne. To start, I am an 18 year old male and I have had acne for the past 4-5 years. The only place that I would get acne would be right around my mouth, mostly right below the corners of my mouth. I never really treated it until about 5 months ago. After doing some research I classified it as mostly cystic. I would always have 1-5 active pimples and even when I only had 1 or so I would have the left over
