  1. Hey all for when I possibly start Accutane what is the best generic Accutane that worked for you? I am worried about their effectiveness since it is not the original Roche Accutane. It is the same ingredients correct? But might depend on where the generic is made also. Also after seeing all these initial breakouts on here I'm sooo scared. What should I expect around 10-20 mg? I am following some people on their low dose regimen. Arg what acne makes us do!
  2. Hey guys, okay well I am very interested in buying the product. Only thing is; since I don't have a credit card I can't buy it. Do you think there is a store where the acne.org products can be found? If not, do you guys know some good generic brands that can replace the treatment? thank you in advance!
  3. I'm just curious what kind of generic spiro everyone is taking. Can you guys check for me please???? If you just look at your bottle it should say what the manufacturer is. Example... mine says Spironolactone, then right below it says MFR Qualitest. That's what company makes the generic. I had been getting mine from walgreens for many many years which is Mylan brand. I NEVER had any oil or breakouts. My skin was super clear. The last few months I've been filling it at CVS which is Qualit
  4. Hey! I've been taking Spironolactone (indicated as Teva-Spironolactone on the bottle) and I'm just wondering whether anyone knows if there's a true difference between the available brands with regards to efficiency? I'm in Canada and it looks like we have 3 types available here: Aldactone, Novo-Spiroton and Teva-Spironolactone.
  5. Hello, I am wondering what the difference is between Retin A micro and Supatret 0.04 micro-sphere gel. Are they both the same, and just have a different manufacturer? one generic one genuine Is there any difference in quality ? How effective is tretinoin for pimples, my acne is very mild although its pesky and annoying, I understand it sheds skin, although how can that benefit pimples and acne? Does it make you acne free similar to Accutane, in the sense of shrinking
  6. Hi girls! I'm 16 years old and I started Acutane (or Claravis the generic version) on December 24th about 14 days ago. I also started birth control when I got my period on the 27th. I missed one day of acutane and my prescription got messed up (i was given enough for only 15 days...it's a mess) but I'm worried about my period. I usually have my period for 6 days and some spotting the 7th and 8th day. But today is the 12th day of me spotting. I'm not bleeding enough to need a pad but it's stainin
  7. I recently went to my doctor to work on getting my hormonal acne and fungal infection under control. She prescribed Tri-Sprintec (generic Ortho-Tri-Cyclen) and generic Bactrim for my acne and generic Lamasil for the fungal infection. I've never been on birth control before and generally don't take a lot of medication, so this list is rather intimidating for me. I was hoping for some tips and an idea of what to expect from people who have been on/ are familiar with these drugs. Thanks!
