  1. After a chocolate binge on Thursday the 9th May and Friday the 10th i have completely removed all refined sugar from my diet + milk. I had a very bad breakout 2/3days after the chocolate binge so from the ~13th but this only last for a few days or so and started cleaning up from about last weds/thurs[15/16]. Something to note is that i also started eating fruit from the 9th May onwards so this well could of been the culprit rather/plus the chocolate. Although i compellingly removed a
  2. I started getting cysitc acne when I was senior in high school 3 years ago. It Really bothered me a lot and my self esteem dropped a ton. After cutting dairy out of my diet the cystoc acne generally went away. (Im not embarassed to take my shirt off in public anymore). One day the summer between senior and freshman year of college I noticed that I have small acne all over my forehead. It happened over night and it was really oily and bumpy, but never with white sebum. Now (junior year of college
  3. So i love digging around the web for first hand success stories. Though these are not scientific studies, they are still very inspirational and some more educational than others. So here is one girl's success managing her candida. She is raw vegan. If you are not raw vegan, or do not support it, i can respect that. I am not raw vegan, although the majority of what i eat is raw, and i rarely eat meat. I do consume raw eggs as well. So you could call me a Fegan. Which is a faux vegan
  4. After a failed attempt with Saw Palmetto (for acne & facial hair;result: disaster zone), birth control (Ocella for 3 days, I broke out immediately), Retin A (peeling, redness, sensitivity and even worse with Differin), Minocycline (it's just okay, but someday the body will resist), No more vitamins and herbs, such a waste of money -except L-lysine (helps my skin heal quicker, its awesome, and juicing (ahhh juicing ...juicing WORKED!) My skin never looked better. I first tried fresh jui
  5. Sup! So im breaking out again, yeah im clueless as to why. I thought i could power through before, just by being on a strict diet. Yeah so i did everything, don't want to go into cause it's long and complex. Just rest assured i've tried it. Anyway i am on a diet now and yes i've been on it for a long time, yes i've seen good results. Lately however i've realized the acne horizons are broader and are unbelievably, a bigger, better, more complex pain in my bottom! (ass). So im not eating g
  6. Hi Everyone, I'm new to the boards so I hope I'm posting this in the right spot. Basically, my skin has been pretty clear since taking Accutane nearly two years ago. I usually just have a couple whiteheads but they dont really bother me. However, starting about 2 1/2 weeks ago my skin got really bad. The first thing that happened was I developed a weird rash on my chin that I still have at the moment. After that I started getting A LOT of whitheads - first they were popping up around my
  7. Hi Guys! So, I've heard sooo much about how diet affects the skin, and of cause, no doubt about it. But can you be too fanatic about it? I have developed some habbits and essential foods, that I have been eating for the last 7-8 months. But I havent really had anyone to look at my diet. I know that you guys are not dieticians, but any input or advice, comments, would be great. I Dont eat dairy, nor wheat/gluten and hardly any sugar. A typical day : Breakfast: 1 glass of
  8. I'm more or less paleo. Drink bone broth, eat fermented foods. Don't drink alcohol anymore. Taking many probiotic supplements since last year. Taking what seems like a thousand supplements at the moment. Tried the gaps diet ( recent test results show I have zero intestinal permeability/candida/parasites). So I'm focusing on liver flushes at the moment. Have done a few with not much improvement. Anybody have success with these? What about NAET? NMT? I don't know how much longer I can put up
  9. Hey guys. I wonder if peaches cause acne, and what other things can cause acne? I'm already dairy-free, it helped SO much. But right now i have the fear that EVERYTHING i eat will cause acne. I'm severely underweight because of this and i hate the way i look. anyway, does peaches cause acne? Thanks.
