  1. (For the explanation of the topic itself, skip to the button.) Honestly if no one reads this, it's ok. Too long, didn't read for you? It's ok. I don't blame you. I know, it's really long. I just need to get these emotions out. I wanted to do this many times before, but I didn't, and now here I type. History of me and my acne (if uninterested, feel free to skip) I need to pour all of these emotions out somewhere. I'm tired of locking myself up in my room and screaming silently and cry
  2. Let alone my guy friends. I have acne on both cheeks and a big effin cyst on my effin nose. I look like Rudolph!! (You can laugh if you want) Although one of my girl friends have acne like me.. But WHY ME!!!!!???? I can't cover it up with a bit of makeup cos I'd look like a cake.
  3. Hello everyone I'm new to this forum. I'm currently 17 years old (male) Senior in High School and want to ask if anyone elses acne ruined their teenage years such as not being able to go out because of it, having no social life and enduring merciless bullying? I just hope I'm not the only one who has spent most of their teen years in complete isolation because of this. This disease has made me psychotic.
  4. Hi guys! So I live in the dorms on my college campus, and Im constantly changing my routine so my roommate doesnt see my skin! I sleep with my blanket covering my skin, always have concealer on, wait in bed till she leaves the room to wash my face, put my makeup on in the shower stall instead of my room! anybody else do anything crazy like me?! also, I cancel plans with my bf when my face is bad, which is all the time. He never asks cause I have crazy excuses but Im getting tired of th
  5. So this is a random question but I feel like my acne left me with a lot of emotional problems. First of all when I had acne (now i only have some scarring left) I was always anxious to be in bad lighting and stuff like that. So i guess after so much constant worrying i still feel social anxiety bc it was so common to me before that it hasn't gone away even if the original problem is gone. Is there any way to get rid of this other than seeing a doctor? because I don't want any anxiety pills AT
  6. I just noticed that my friends list is shorter than the number of people I have added/ have added me as a friend. I keep seeing the same number of friends' photos regardless of how many people add me. How can I see the full list?
  7. My friend wants to sleepover tomorrow and I'm so nervous. She hasn't seen my face without makeup except when it was clear. I'm thinking about making up an excuse to get out of this. My acne treatment makes my face red and I'm on period so I'm getting cysts on my jawline!
  8. It's difficult for me to post this topic, but I need some advice because I feel like I'm in the twilght zone. I hadn't seen my family in 2 years because they live in a different conintent. This past year, my skin has gone from relatively clear to chaotic, and now it's almost clear again but I have tons of red marks, scarring, hyperpigmentation, and little holes all over my cheeks. SInce January of this year, I had been sending my family photos of my acne at its worse because I was hopeless as to
  9. I know quite a large amount of people on this site often bring up how others have made some cruel, vicious and insensitive comments about the condition of their skin but for me i don't really get this. In my school, I don't think I've ever heard the word Acne come out of someone else's mouth. I'm a guy and I know girls might be more likely to talk about their own or other people's skin but even though I've gone to school with some very obvious problems, people just don't really bring it up. Sure
  10. Hello! I'm here to bring insight on this long journey I'm currently on with facing acne. i've had acne every since i got my period, so around 6th grade. I'm currently a junior in high school. Acne is an overall hard think to manage. Not only do you have to deal with people telling you how to treat your own skin or constantly bringing up how bad your skin look, but you deal with your own devils inside. ill be the first to admit, my acne does make me feel less pretty and confident. no matter how
  11. Would people be interested in an acne support Kik group? I could use a chat with people who relate to my problems. Or just a one on one would be great too! I'm really depressed... respond with your Kik username if you're interested!
