  1. It was very hard for me to upload those pictures. I have this one scar on my forehead. There was just a tiny thing which I got removed and then picked on it. Now there'S a hole. Second problem: I got a red zit a few years ago on my nose but the doc didn't laser it, he cut it OUT! And there is a huge scar right now. I got it lasered with a fractional laser, now you can see that the skin on my nose looks weird. Not just the scar. The skin on top of nose is shiny and dry. Very weird. Is there any t
  2. Hello. My acne is under control at this point but I’m left with scars from stupidly picking over the years. I don’t really care about scarring on my cheeks, I only have a few that I personally think give me character but the ones on my forehead really bother me. I know that lasers don’t help with the depth, and I’ve heard about people doing subsicion (with fillers to prevent retethering). I’m willing to spend money to help my self-esteem because it really does bother me. I’ve also heard of peopl
  3. Hi everyone, I just wanted to see if anyone could give me some feedback on my skin. I don’t have access to a dermatologist so decided this may be a good option. For it a little history I’m in my mid 20s, had pretty bad skin as a teenager and was on accurate and my skin was perfect. For the past few years I have struggled with tiny little bumps on my forehead that are focuses on my temples. They aren’t too noticeable but under harsher light and sunlight and especially from a side angle they
  4. Hi, everyone! I have suffered with bad cystic acne for about 3 years. I have finally gotten to a place where I no longer break out. Long story short it took me 3 years to realize I had food intolerances that would break me out in. Unfortunately, I now have some forehead acne scars. So here I am! I have had these scars since around 2016 when I had my worst acne breakout. Since then I have made sure to wear sunscreen daily, and have been using Tazorac for the past six months. However, I
  5. From the album: What are these?

I keep getting skin coloured "blocked pores" on my forehead? I have looked at them close up and they are not black heads more inflames like white heads just bumps? I get it when my skin gets oily or I wear makeup on a night out. What are they and how do I get rid of them? Every time I try to extract them they become angry huge spots.... Its annoying and makes me feel self conscious. can anyone give any advice? Creams , routines , brands? I wash, tone and motorise my skin 2 times a day and nothin

From the album: Severe Cystic Acne

It's mainly my right side of the face that gets the most acne and redness. I do have freckles so they do make my acne and skin look worse because they are pigments and it's harder to tell what's a scar from a freckle. I need help because I've gone to my dermatologist and what they have me did nothing at all. I drink a gallon of water a day and exercise regularly but they're still popping up on my face. I need them to go away by 2015 June!! Or as soon as possible!!!!!!
  9. I'm a 16 year old girl who has been suffering from mild-moderate acne for around a year (I know it isn't that long and that it's completely normal to have acne as a teenager because hormones but it is seriously wrecking my self-esteem). Around a year or so ago, my skin was completely fine. It was slightly oily but I suppose that is normal and I had a pimple or two on my face every now and then from eating greasy/oily foods or because of hormonal factors. I didn't use any facial cleansers and I o
  10. okay so like the past month something weird has been going on. I've had pretty mild acne for about a few years now but a month ago all breakouts i was having on my upper back disappeared and same for anywhere else except my forehead. like it seems like all my areas that would break out from time to time combined together and all went to my forehead. My body is 100% clear except for my forehead which is looking pretty shitty now. I don't get what's going on. before it was manageable because my br
  11. Hi guys, I need advice or help regarding an extremely stupid mistake i made that might have ruined the skin on my forehead. My friend was prescribed Benzac Benzoil Peroxide 10% wash & Clindoxyl for acne on his face and body due to chemotherapy treatment he has been going trough the last few months. One evening i noticed i had 4 pimples on my forehead which has up until early April always been smooth, normal and acne free. I freaked out and with complete ignorance decided to lather on t
  12. Someone please help me! I have absolutely no clue what theese are, if they're acne or not, and how they even got there. I've always had reasonably clear skin and at the end of last year I developed a few of theese little bumps so for the whole summer holidays I wore absolutely no face makeup to see if that made a difference & it didn't! I do my skin care regime twice a day everyday but theese things just won't budge and they bring my confidence down so much! They don't itch, they don't
  13. How to clear these forehead pimples, what is causing these? I am also using anti dandruff shampoo twice a week.
  14. hello, i was wondering (as the online reviews i read didn´t help much) which "miraculous" mario badescu lotion would work for the clogged pores i have in my forehead? i think i´m buying the acne starter kit, which comes with a cucumber toner, a cleanser, a moisturizer, a drying lotion and a drying mask; but i´ve also been considering buying either the buffering lotion or the drying lotion but i´m clueless :-/ please help??
  15. I've been lurking these forums for several months now. For the longest time I never put much thought into my acne/ acne scars. Reason being, I never truly had bad acne. Looking in the mirror now, I can see that the scars left behind tell a story of acne that wasn't as severe as the scars somehow depict. I wanted to specifically ask about my forehead scars. For whatever reason I don't see the forehead mentioned as much as other areas of the face, namely cheeks. I know subscision + suction and
  16. Hello everyone. I would very much like to get some advice or just any type of feedback on my problem. First of all I am 20 years old, male, 187lb(85kg). My acne wasn't that bad honestly, I had small spots on my forehead and sometimes big ones popped up there aswell, but my main issue was pimples around the lips and jawline. I always had something on my upper lip near the nose and the jawline acne started about 6 months ago. I do not know what caused it but it got bad very quickly. The main spots
  17. okay, i´ve got a problem. i know you cannot stop acne at this period, i´m only 15, but i have a very oily t-zone, specially my forehead. like, very oily. but the worst of all is my pimples. i´ve got very small and hard pimples which CAN´T GO AWAY. i wash my face twice a day, put an oil-free moisturizer, and use a scrub every three days (it´s honey, granulated or brown sugar and lemon) but these pimples can´t fucking go away and i´ve been trying for an year. see, they are very small and don´t ha
  18. hi, I'm 14 years old and I've been getting some blackheads on my nose, the ocassional whitehead (maybe once a month) but most of the acne I have is quite mild and looks like skin colored small bumps, mostly on my forehead some on my cheekbones too. I had been using a St. Ives apricot scrub with salicylic acid and now I'm using a gentle purifying face wash with some salicylic acid but no products I've ever used have completely cleared up my skin (except straight tea tree oil) I really need help o
  19. So i have occasional pimples on my chin and nose which are always red and then turn into a whit head on the 2nd- 3rd day. However the acne on my forehead i have never been able to get rid of. I have used benzoyl peroxide for 1.5 years diligently and have tried both 2.5% and 5% strengths with no avail. I have attached a photo of what it looks like. The problem is that in natural lighting you can full on see all these bumps but in home lighting you can't. Whats weirder is that if i feel my fo
  20. I've never had super red and painful acne, but I've always had large pores and a very bumpy forehead. I've done a lot of research and have tried many things; exfoliating, moisturizing, topicals, etc. No matter how hard I try, these bumps just do not go away. If I try to extract them, it just scars. The pores also never seem to shrink and it seems as if they're getting bigger everyday. I've heard this is the easiest acne to get rid of, yet it won't with me. I really need help. I don't l
  21. Hi, just wanted to start off by thanking you in advance for reading this and for possibly answering and contributing to my situation. for a few years now I have had closed comedones on my forehead - about 20-30 of them. You may also know this as 'whiteheads'. About a month ago, I started using St Ives exfoliating wipes (which are now discontinued), and that what seemed to purge me. Some of the whiteheads turned to blackheads and large inflamed pimples that did not hurt. I then started u
  22. I don't know what to do anymore I've tried everything. I don't know what could be causing this it gets worse every day What's worse is that makeup doesn't cover it and I just have the lowest self esteem because of this.
  23. Hi. I'm a girl, 15. I've had trouble with acne for almost two years. I'm very very insecure about my skin. I wash my face two times a day with dove soap because every face wash i try either doesn't help or makes it worse. I use moisturizer too. My friend used proactiv and her skin cleared up pretty much flawless. I've also heard proactiv is bad for your skin. Could someone help me? So far I have had only trouble only on my forehead. My acne started when I was in middle school I used to pick at p
  24. I am so grateful for this website! Without it, I may still be dealing with one of the worst skin conditions I've ever had. I wanted to write this in the hopes that someone else can benefit from my situation. Starting in the summertime, I suddenly got hundreds of tiny little bumps all over my forehead. Assuming it was because of my bike helmet (I am an avid mountain biker), I washed my helmet and made sure to keep my skin clean. It did nothing to help my skin. Then, the bumps made the
