  1. I've had my share of hormonal acne in my life but these bumps are hard to the touch and I just cannot figure out what they are. I thought maybe fungal acne, switched to a safe routine and tried Nizoral, Head & Shoulders, Clotrimazole 1% and De La Cruz sulfur ointment (face hates it). Third picture shows those skin colored hard bump type pimples in the mix. Started with a few in the middle of the forehead and as time went on it spread to the sides and became more inflamed like hard insect bit
  2. Hi everyone, I've had these scars on my forehead/glabella for around 14 years and have been trying to get some improvement. I've had 3 sessions of regular microneedling (over the past 4 months) and haven't seen any noticeable improvement. I know my scars are shallow but their appearence still bothers me. I am supposed to be seeing Dr Anil in London to have Secret RF microneedling but am quite nervous about the RF. He suggested that he do 2 passes, one at 1mm and another at 1.
  3. Hello. My acne is under control at this point but I’m left with scars from stupidly picking over the years. I don’t really care about scarring on my cheeks, I only have a few that I personally think give me character but the ones on my forehead really bother me. I know that lasers don’t help with the depth, and I’ve heard about people doing subsicion (with fillers to prevent retethering). I’m willing to spend money to help my self-esteem because it really does bother me. I’ve also heard of peopl
  4. I’ve had these bumps on my forehead for a while nowww. They appeared two years ago and I haven’t found a way to treat them since then. I don’t even know what they are called. Can someone please help me find out what they are and how to treat them?? I can’t afford a dermatologist so this is my last hope. I think they may be closed comedones but I don’t know . Please help. Thank you
  5. Hello everybody, Thanks a lot for having clicking on this topic! I really need your help! Like many of us, I am struggling with acne: Everyday, I have a new pimple growing on my forehead/temple area only (almost nowhere else)! I will insert a picture to show you what these pimples look like but from what I see, they are inflamed, a little bit painful, but don’t necessary have pus, they look like papules. It started exactly an year ago (December 2018) because of very high leve
  6. Yesterday, while quickly pulling off my jacket, my finger somehow hit my forehead and my nail took some skin off leaving a long, wide and shallow scar. I have skin-picking disorder so I have to deal with ice pick scars and other scars all over my face (mostly on my cheeks), but they are barely noticeable with makeup on; this is something else and I know it's going to leave an ugly scar. The worst part is that I didn't do it intentionally like I do when I compulsively pick my skin, so I can't eve
  7. i don’t know how to get rid of these bumps on my forehead or what they are even called. i think there are some blackheads but i’m not sure if that’s what they are. please help if anyone knows how to get rid of these or what they are called!!!
  8. Please help, I’ve been trying to get rid of these for the longest time. I don’t know what they are. If you have any information on what this is or how to treat it let me know !!!
  9. For the past 3 months I’ve been getting random bumps on my forehead (as seen in these photos). I stopped wearing makeup, and started hydrating more but nothing seems to work! The products I usually use on my face are: aloe Vera (scarring), vitamin e lotion/oil, coconut oil, differin, and clean and clear morning + night face washes. What are some products that help get rid of these bumps? I really want my skin to clear up!
  10. Some Leave-in Hair Products May Cause Acne

Leave-in hair products include pomades, oils, gels, sprays, mousses, conditioners, brilliantines, and jellies that are applied to and left in the hair. These products may contain ingredients that can be irritating or pore-clogging to already sensitive, acne-prone skin. When you apply products to your hair, you can inadvertently get some of the product onto your skin, especially at the hairline. You can also transfer them to other parts of the face if you touch your hair...
  11. I thought this was just the common acne but it's been months already and it looks like it ain't gonna go away on its own. I already improved my skin care routine but it's not helping my condition. Btw, I use cetaphil gentle skin cleanser and st. ive's apricot scrub. Should I try the nizoral shampoo or a sulfur-containing soap? Kindly leave some suggestions. I need your help so bad.

  13. Hi friends! I'm at my wits end with my skin right now... Just wanted to pick your brains about what products I can use/ what I can do to tackle my SUPER acne prone skin. A little bit about my skin: I was on Diane 35 for about 1 year because I was breaking out severely on my forehead and cheeks. It got better with the BC as well as a regimin consisting of the Cosrx Good Morning Cleanser, Sunday Riley Lactic Acid and pure Argan Oil. Then I got off Diane 35 about a year ago and it wasn't
  14. For the last 10 years, I've looked on acne.org for advice. Making this account was long overdue. And for the most part, things I've found on here have worked! But nothing completely got rid of my acne. Let me give you a background of my history.... I got my first whitehead when I was 11 years old, thought nothing of it. Scratched it away. From ages 11-12, I had a front fringe. I began to experience hundreds of tiny whiteheads all over my forehead, I presume due to the sweat and dirt
  15. One day I woke up with these small forehead bumps all over my forehead, my temples and all the way up until my hairline. I have no idea what to do. I have tried almost everything in the past two months. Anti-dandruff shampoo (severely dried out my skin and didn't improve the bumps), cetaphil gentle skin cleanser paired with a lightweight oil-free moisturizer, the Kiehl's line (midnight recovery, Calendula toner, etc) manual and chemical exfoliating products (ie peter thomas roth glycolic acid pa
  16. Hi! I need help about my forehad acnes/bumps, i dont really know what they are or what caused them and what should i do to get rid of them so please help me ~ I’m 16 years btw
  17. I have some long lasting scarring on my forehead which has been severely affecting my confidence. I’ve attached some clear photos, there is one boxcar like scar which is about one sheet of paper deep and bothers me the most. Could anybody suggest treatment options for this? I have recently started using Tretinoin 0.025% + Clindamycin for blocked pores but not sure it will help with this wide atrophic scar? Thank you!
  18. i have oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. Since getting hormonal acne at 11 years old until now, my skin has formed a bumpy texture which is especially prominent on the sides of my forehead, center of my chin, nose. it doesn't seem to be clogged pores because i have bigger clogged pores too. they are so small and look terrible under the light. i can't even feel the bumps very well when i touch them, so the overall texture is grainy and bumpy. please help!!!!
  19. Hello I have mild acne which is well under control with Epiduo. About 3 months ago I got a cyst that was very inflamed on my forhead. It was one of those that didn’t come to a head. I waited about 2 month and it went down and eventually the redness went away but I ended up getting a bump that’s the size of a pea—it’s not painful but I can see/feel a lump under my skin. I decided to visit a derm and got it injected twice and it kinda helped but the lump is still there!!! Any sugesstions or advi
  20. So I have struggled with small bumps on my forehead for about half of my life (since my teenage years). I had MASSIVE forehead envy whenever I saw someone with a smooth forehead. It seemed too that when I was stressed or tired the bumps would get worse, which made me think it could be some kind of allergy or rosacea for a while. Now I won't oversell my problem - the bumps were colourless and only noticeable when the light caught them, so it could have been worse. I've also had a touch of acne
  21. hi, i am 15 and i have a really weird forehead texture which looks rough and there are tiny bumps. specifically, this only shows up in photos and looks far worse outdoors. for awhile i thought it was folliculitis and tried nizoral but that didn't work out too well. i've tried paula's choice bha as well however even after the purging period i would get random cysts on areas i'm not acne prone to. exfoliating somehow makes my skin have an even worse texture (palmer's brand) so i stopped doing that
  22. Please help me I'm desperate... I'm coming up to the two months mark of using Epiduo and my skin has completely transformed. I used to have extremely mild acne; some raised bumps on my forehead which were barely visible and the occasional pimple and I now have awful acne and the most awful scars. I'm wishing that I never even started Epiduo. My self esteem is ruined and I've cried myself to sleep these past few nights. My face now has so much deep, red and purple scarring (something which
  23. I have never broken out before in my life. What could be causing this and how do I fix it? Please help I feel so ugly and ashamed.
  24. I started getting these small skin colored bumps about a year ago. They don’t go away and they’re like impossible to get rid of. I’ve tried everything and nothing works. Does anyone know what this is? I use all gentle products and i dont know what triggered this. hopefully someone can help
  25. Hi everyone, I just wanted to see if anyone could give me some feedback on my skin. I don’t have access to a dermatologist so decided this may be a good option. For it a little history I’m in my mid 20s, had pretty bad skin as a teenager and was on accurate and my skin was perfect. For the past few years I have struggled with tiny little bumps on my forehead that are focuses on my temples. They aren’t too noticeable but under harsher light and sunlight and especially from a side angle they
