Well i have been fighting acne problems since i was 10. i had it really bad last year and we tried just about everything under the sun from proative to some stuff i cant even say.. so they put me on accutane and well about a month in my acne got way worst than what it was soppost to. so i finished off with 8 months of it and thoose 8 months i wouldnt go in to public besides school well this summer my acne got way worst... its not this real fine stuff like it was before. its like all these black
So, I've been reading at all the success stories, and it looks great. However, when I read on the forums all I hear is "It didn't work for me." or "This happened, I always peel" etc. And it makes me doubt it again. I'm currently on a diet from a nutritionist, however that could take months, I want something that can also help from the outside. Some info: 17, male, Australia. I'll post some pictures of my acne. I use Avene Cleanance gel 2x day, once in the morning, once in night before bed. Is it bad for your skin to use a cleanser? And how would you slowly go off it so you don't break out and what not, (if it IS bad for you.) and what could I start using instead that isn't bad for your skin at all, and in fact helps the skin and acne? I want to start applying coconut oil, could I slowly go off avene and start using coconut oil instead?
What have you guys found to actually help with your redness reduction? Try and avoid things you've heard work, what has been proven to show good results for you? Supplements, vitamins, creams, etc. Thanks
