  1. ★★★Exercise Causes Constipation!★★★ One great medical myth, prevailing for 2000 to 3000 years, is that physical exercise helps in preventing and curing constipation. This false belief is still being dogmatically propagated all over the world by practitioners of Allopathy, Ayurveda and Naturopathy, and by experts in Health Education and Sports Medicine. All therapies based on this dangerous dogma are a threat to the health of many patients. I have never found any scienti
  2. This has been happening to me for 10+ years. All food gives me acne- literally. All food prepared by a restaurant gives me super intense acne. Living like this is so terrible. Does anyone have advice/ tips for for not going insane while living with this horribly awful disease??
  3. So I saw that almost everyone started to avoid junk food and sugar to stop breaking out. Ok !! It's a good thing and I'm glad that people are more conscious about nutrition and the results of our healthy are behind our food and nutrition. But I saw that the people are afraid to eat even HEALTHY FOOD. I saw topics that users don't know what to eat even more and they avoid even the vegetables and fruits. I saw comments which say that "sugar is my biggest weakness" or "I don't know what to eat
  4. Hi guys, I had really terrible cystic acne almost two years ago now and since then it's cleared up with some red Post Acne Erythema marks on my cheeks which are really difficult to get rid of unless I pay some good $$$ for laser treatment but I'm a senior in college so that's obviously not happening any time soon. Anyways, when I do break out these days it's from hormones when I'm on or near my period OR when I eat sugar/fried foods. Sugar is my biggest weakness. I almost never eat candy bu
  5. I already cut out dairy. I'm also gluten free. Allergic to oats. No sugar. I had to cut out fruit also because in these forums they say that even natural sugars from fruit causes acne! Potatoes cause acne, rice causes acne, nightshade vegetables and certain fruits cause acne, nuts cause acne, beans&legumes causes acne, soy causes acne... The list goes on.. What is there left to eat? I cant find anything to eat! I'm SCARED to eat because they say nearly everything causes acne! Im severely und
  6. Hi my name is Joseph and I've been a victim of acne since I was 14. My skin problems became a lot worse at 17. I started having hair loss on top of my acne but I'm here because I'm struggling really bad and I feel like acne is taking over my life. I've been eating nothing but meats cooked with olive oil and veggies. I don't eat any sugar and any dairy and I still get moderate acne on my chin(a lot), nose, and cheeks especially my left. I have a few acne hyper pigmentation in the middle of my fac
  7. Hey everyone, I'm totally new here. I just want to start off by asking a question. When I eat certain foods like; oats (oatcakes / porridge), corncakes, rice cakes, cereals (buckwheat etc), flours e.g. maize flour etc, it has a negative impact on my skin. My skin starts becoming severely visibly blotchy around my cheeks / temple area. I try to stay clear of these foods, but the other day I tried making gluten free bread and my skin just completely flipped out! Does anyone else have this proble
  8. So this is a random question but I feel like my acne left me with a lot of emotional problems. First of all when I had acne (now i only have some scarring left) I was always anxious to be in bad lighting and stuff like that. So i guess after so much constant worrying i still feel social anxiety bc it was so common to me before that it hasn't gone away even if the original problem is gone. Is there any way to get rid of this other than seeing a doctor? because I don't want any anxiety pills AT

  10. Hello! Foremost, I'd like to say that I have been combatting with light to moderate acne for years now. Recently, I have been eating healthier (it isn't that I have eaten unhealthy before, it is just I am cutting back on rice consumption, oily food intake, etc). However, it seems as if my skin gets worse when I eat more raw vegetables. Any deviation from my normal diet that I have had for my entire life, essentially (consistent home cooked, Indian food all my seventeen years of living), resul
  11. Since I relapsed my first round and want this round to work for good, I have been researching the best way to absorb accutane to the fullest extent, I found some great articles that I feel the need to share! These articles basically say that high fat and high calorie meals absorb accutane 60% better than on an empty stomach. I have decided that I am going to take the healthy approach to fatty meals and stick with coconut oil. Coconut oil is compromised differently than other oils, it is sent dir
  12. Hello! I have been dealing with acne since I hit puberty at age 14. It was very mild in high school, but when my senior year hit my cystic acne started to show up; it has stayed for good. I only get one or two at a time along with a few blackheads/whiteheads here and there, but my skin has been awful at repairing itself and the cystic acne has left scars all over my face. The scars on my forehead have healed but still have a lot around my mouth. I have found out that my triggers are fluoride to
  13. Hey Guys, I have no active acne (except for 2 pimples) and I'm on accutane . I used to have acne.. I have a VERY healthy lifestyle, no processed food, dairy, sugar, alcohol, white bread etc. and I'm vegan. Today I ate some oats with a lot of dried fruits in it, which is filled with fruit sugar, can this affect my skin? I know it sounds crazy and totally overreacting But yeah, It was only today i did it..
  14. Hey! Diamond here, I'm a new user. Here's a little background of me. I'm a male, 17 years old, about 5 foot 10, weigh 129 and have had pesty acne since 8th grade. Before I ask for any help, let me give you a quick rundown of my skin care routine and diet. In the morning, I wash with a Christina Moss Naturals organic face wash and follow that up with an aloe vera based organic and non comedogenic mouisturizer. I don't wash again until I get home from school, and only with water. I follow the ri

  16. Hey Guys, Short update. I'm currently on accutane and my skin is pretty much clear. I eat low glycemic foods, only drinks water, eat berries, fruits, vegetables etc. Yesterday and today I ate oatmeal with some honey, will this cause any pimples or make me break out? It was only yesterday and today, that I ate honey with my oatmeal. Do you have any experience with acne and honey? Will I get pimples because I ate it yesterday and today?
  17. I am currently taking the anti biotic doxycycline and I've been on it for 2 months now and nothing has reallyy changed, I find that my skin becomes itchy and inflamed sometimes, maybe more so when exposed to heat, going out in public, and when my beard starts to come in, i recently stopped eating any gluten and dairy because I've also had stomach issues in the past, I've been drinking more green tea and a probiotic. Is my anti biotic really helping? does anyone have similar skin and eliminated c
  18. The McDougall Program for Maximum Weight Loss. I wasn't using it to lose weight. I was using it to get clear skin. Why? This video right here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Qdwn2itsgg. Two beautiful twin girls with clear skin going on about how diet cleared them of their acne. It's a plant-based diet, but with a catch: You can't eat any fat. Not even natural fat. That meant no avocados, no nuts, no oils, nothing. You can't even cook with oils. Most of the stuff is raw. Oh my god, I don't know
  19. So I recently went to my dermatologist yesterday and my mom asked her if certain foods like dairy, eggs, chocolate, sugar will trigger acne? And the dermatologist said no. And with that, my mom and dad have now been forcing me to eat foods like eggs, noodles, milk because they said its good for your body. I've been on a regular diet for almost a year now which consists of brown rice, spinah and fish and it has gotten rid of my acne. Now all of my hard work on losing weight and getting rid of acn

I've got this same situation with chocolate. If the maker of it is higher quality I don't experience skin problems. Does anyone else relate to this ? btw the type of coffee im drinking is blue mountain from jamaica. very good top notch and is not bugging me like all the others ive tried.
  21. Hi! So I have been taking Lymecycline for just over two months now, it has worked wonders for my skin but I feel extremely nauseous for a few hours after taking it, I take it at night before I sleep for that reason. Recently I started my latest prescription of the antibiotic and have lost ALL of my appetite which is unusual for me, I love food, have a healthy relationship with food and eat everything put in front of me but in the last week I can't think of meals without feeling ill. I can'
  22. Okay, so I used to check out this site all the time, desperately looking for something to help. I found the cure to my acne, it took almost 10 years but I found it. I feel like I owe it to this site to post it for the rest of you, maybe this will help someone. A little background, I'm female in my early 20s. I had absolutely terrible skin as a teenager, went on birth control and it helped a bit, but my skin never really cleared up. By university I was getting a zit a week or so, pretty big o
  23. Hello there! I went on a plant based diet about 3 months ago mainly for acne reasons but wasn't seeing results after the 3 months, not to mention feeling extremely fatigued morning and night, and having to eat insane amounts of food to not get a stabbing pain in my stomach from hunger. That was especially bad, because it just would not go away no matter how much I ate. Anyhow, after not getting the benefits I wanted from the diet, but rather the opposite, I left. Now I'm back
  24. Changed "The Truth" to a journey, since I'm discontinuing it. Summary Basically, I had cystic acne, but finally cleared my skin by eating only eggs and oatmeal for like 2 weeks after getting results back from a skin prick test. Here are those results: Now, these results weren't very accurate and didn't test for enough foods. But oats and carrots and wheat were spot on. Mediator Release Test Now, I didn't get it yet! I'm saving money so I can order it from Florida for $495 U.S. I
  25. So I recently was in Shanghai for 5 months (for studies), which completely took away my acne! I had absolutely no, zero, pimples arriving for the last 2-3 of months. Two of my other friends who came with me there as well said it too, that their skin is better than ever. I've now been back in my home country in Europe for 3 weeks and the acne seems to be coming back as it was before... I've had constant acne for over 10 years and I've even tried isotretinoin antibiotics (didn't have long las
