  1. Hi everyone, I've been using the acne.org regimen with benzoyl peroxide 2.5%, cleanser and moisturiser. This has worked amazingly for me and pretty much cleared up all my acne. I put a little bit of BP on my forehead , cheeks and nose avoiding putting BP anywhere near my eyes twice a day. however, I have recently started getting extremely dry and flakey skin around my eyes, eyelids and around my eyebrows. It is quite irritated as well. i have tried to moisturise my skin and even used
  2. I've been on the Regimen for 10 months now. I loved the Regimen because it cleared my skin and I never felt better. That was about 6 months ago. I haven't had more than a few hicups following the Regimen which was about 6 months ago. I have followed it with perfection for about 6 months. I used to look on these forums for cures to flakyness and after realizing how much time I wasted I realized no one is going to help me by telling me AHA works. AHA doesn't do shit for flakes. If I am missing som
  3. Some background info about me is that I've had acne since I was about 12-14 and have tried everything to get rid of it. I started doing the caveman regimen for about 6 months or so and have had great success in improving my acne. The only problem I'm having is when I exfoliate (about once a week) it only gets like one layer of dead skin and I spend the next couple days trying to get the little bits and pieces left behind. It doesn't matter if i scrub lightly or hard with my washcloth the same th
  4. Hi everyone! I will spare the background and history about me until later on as I progress through The Regimen, but long story short, I have been a lurker for a long time and only now decided to try The Regimen out. I am a 19 year old male. I am about a week and a half in, and like everyone else, I am experiencing dryness and flaking. I would like some advice on what exactly it is I should do next, so I signed up a few minutes ago haha. I started slowly at once a day before I went to bed, sl
  5. Hi Everyone, WARNING- LONG FIRST POST! I am fairly new to the site, and once I had started reading round I thought I should give the regime a go. I had been prescribed benzoyl peroxide before by my doctors, but gave up when it made my skin so dry! especially using soap before hand as suggested! I recently went back to see if they had invented a new miracle cure. sadly not. I genuinely cried when I came out the doctors as I felt hopeless, and it just wasn't FAIR. Once I got a grip and stopped
  6. My skin is EXTREMELY dry and flakey . Yesterday I smothered my face in coconut oil (yes, virgin, unrefined, cold pressed, organic) mixed with jojoba oil (because I heard its better to mix with a non-comedogenic oil) and my daily moisturiser for extra thickness, and it honestly did nothing. NOTHING. My face is still cracky/flakey..DISGUSTING.! I really have no idea what else to use, my neutrogena oil free moisturiser isn't giving me enough moisture. Even my Olay everyday sunscreen isn't work
  7. Hi guys! I've been on accutane for almost a month now (I'm on week 4). I still havent experienced really dry skin to the point where its flakey. The only time it actually got a bit flakey was around week 2/3 where it started to flake around my nose and mouth. The oil in my face has been reduced though. I have moderate acne, and I'm still breaking out. I was on 20mg a day, in the first week, and then went up to 40mg, which is what I'm taking right now (the dermatologist told me to do so). I w
  8. It is possible to exfoliate while on acne.org the regimen during the first weeks. My face is so flakey and embarrassing I don't know what to do. It's making my face look dirty and spotty haha. Is there anyway to take off the dead skin without irritating your face?
  9. My chin under my bottom lip is the favourite place for these little beggars at the moment. They are big. I have noticed all these spots seem to be coming to a head around three times which is strange. My skin is a lot drier now and flaking most places, the creases around my nose are quite dry. My lips have the usual need for lipbalm 24/7. The Bare Minerals foundation came. The colour is a great match, Pure brightening serum foundation in Bare Linen. The coverage is nowhere near as full as I
  10. Im on tretinoin cream and monodox. My skin is really really oily (its been like this before I started acne treatment) and I'm tired of having to blot pretty much every hour. My skin is also dehydrated from the tretinoin so I have a lot of flakey patches so it's really hard to help my oiliness when it makes my dry patches worse and vice versa. Any tips or products to help?
  11. My nose is super dry, espically when i wear makeup, is there anything available in northern ireland that would belp ive tryed bio oil- useless vasiline- useless all moisturisnger - USELESS Nothing works:(
  12. I wanted to share this with everyone. I recently moved to Minnesota from Illinois and the temperature is much colder and the air is much drier. My face started flaking like crazy! It was so bad that I was switching up my routine and trying new products in the hopes of finding something that would relieve my flakey skin. In the process, I ended up giving myself acne because pretty much all the products I tried I had adverse reactions to. So I went back to pretty much what I was using before. My a
