  1. Hey everyone, I’m pretty embarrassed to post this considering I’m super insecure of the condition of my skin. I’m extremely fair and the contrast of my scarring and hyperpigmentation are very noticeable. I would like to know: from the pictures below (sorry for the bad quality) how severe would you say my scarring/ hyperpiemtation is? What would you suggest treatment wise for someone who has sensitive, easily scarred skin? Thankyou!
  2. Well well well i should have done this a long time ago reallly!!! Brief history, i was prescribed epiduo last August and used it till around dec where i started experimenting with other products and my skin just got out of wack. Started using it again in March 13, and have been using it since but i have had breaks in between due to sun burn and just shitty skin lol so now this is round 3. This time i will get it correct. Epiduo helps but it also never stops being dry or flaky even with m
  3. This is both sides of my face. I have some acne but most of this is just red scars that are still red and haven’t really faded away. I used to pop my pimples and pick at my face a little bit and scratch things off of my face but now I don’t even pop my pimples. I feel insecure about my face without makeup. I feel like I’m not living my best life with this constantly on my face. I feel like I’m battling myself. I’ve tried lots of stuff for my face but nothing seems to help. I wish someone could H

    Epiduo Week 1

I just went to a new derm a week ago and she prescribed me Epiduo. Everyday I wash with Loreal sensitive skin, non-medicated wash and at night I apply a pea sized amount of Epiduo. I have Ulcerative Colitis so unfortunately I am unable to take any oral meds because of the condition of my UC. Before I started Epiduo my entire face was broken out. There was not a even a spot on my face that was clear. I didn't have but like 2 or three cystic pimples. The rest were clogged pores, like little ti
  5. Sensitive Skin: What It Is and What You Can Do about It

Symptoms of Sensitive Skin Why the Product Label "For Sensitive Skin" Doesn't Mean Much What to Do If You Have Sensitive Skin What Causes Sensitive Skin? How Common Is Sensitive Skin? Who Is More Prone to Sensitive Skin? Where on the Body Does Sensitive Skin Occur? The Bottom Line Today, many skin care products and cosmetics on the market sport the label "for sensitive skin." Many people also report that their skin is sensitive. But...
  6. I have had acne marks for 7 months now after a breakout on my cheek. I’ve been using vitamin c oil made for treating dark marks, with glycolic acid 10%. I am so heartbroken because i’ve been using these products for 3 months minimum and they’re still not gone. I’m a 17 year old girl and i just want to feel pretty again for my boyfriend.. it’s so unfair his skin is so pretty and he doesn’t even wash his face
  7. Hey all!!, Today I'm beginning a new acne regimen and I wanted to share it with everyone and see if anyone has any input!! If this regimen is succesful for me I hope that my updates might help others! I'm currently dealing with only moderate acne, but I am very fair skinned, so any blemishes are highly noticeable. Although my acne isn't terrible at the moment, I do have significant scarring from when it was much worse, as well as a very large scar across my forehead from an injury I receiv
  8. I am just really irritated and so depressed at this point. I have been on retinoids for 7 months now and I have not noticed a change in my acne. I have tried over the counter products, derm products including: Differin 0.3%, Avar cleanser, Clindamycin 1% Solution, Clindamycin/BP cream, Tazorac (all of them), Panoxyl 4%, and Retin-A 1% (currently on right now). I tried Clearzine pills and taking multivitamins, but since my stomach is very sensitive these things keep upsetting my stomach, and m
  9. Hey guys. I debated making a log for a few days now, but I just said screw it. A big part of me wants to do this to write out my acne history in the first post because writing it down makes it real, and actually makes me feel. Even though it's extremely depressing and takes a toll on my self esteem, I tend to focus on fixing it now now now without thinking about the past. Because it's real. And it's been real for over 4 years. I've been very lucky to have had clear skin my entire pre
