  1. Can someone please help me figure out what the heck happened to my skin? Because it is bad right now. And I mean really bad. Compared to how I once was, at least. I've been on the regimen for four weeks now (actually, was) and unfortunately my acne took a turn for the worse. I had to stop cold turkey because I cannot handle this level of "purging". (If that's what it even was.) I may have started the regimen too fast, because I was already using two full pumps. But I thought my skin could handle
  2. Hey guys, so I've been using Epiduo since the start of the year, and while it's working, it's also made all the areas of my face in which I use it (so basically everywhere) red. Around my mouth and chin and the sides of my face are the worst. Has anyone else experienced this? As I said, I've been on it for 10 months now so the redness isn't some initial side effect. Will it go away if I stop using it or is this permanent?
  3. hi everybody ! I'm kinda new to this forum but so far i love how kind and helpful people are here . last year i was on my second course of accutane which worked wonders on my seborreic dermatitis on my scalp and my mild acne . but towards the end of the treatment i started to flush horribly. i cudnt be out in the sun, a warm room or any stressful situations without flushing. i knew it was the accutane causing all of this so i decided i was gonna go off of it. so i did. within 3 months my redness
  4. Hello there. Currently i’m 15 years of age. I’ve had acne since probably age 12. I’ve used many over the counter products such at BP and minocycline and all this other stuff. When i first got on BP (benzoyl peroxide) I just slathered that stuff on my face. For the past 2 years my skin has been pretty darn red, dry, super sun sensitive, and irritated. To me it looks super bad and it’s kind of depressing. I kept using BP cuz if i stopped then my face would breakout. I do not have cystic acne or ba
  5. Hi, I am new to this forum. I have been following up with acne.org since last year and I have FINALLY created an account for the forum. To make it short, I have had acne since last year when I had a breakout (moderate to severe) after I used a new makeup (bb cream) and I have tried various prescription drugs from my doctors and it only worked for a short term such as Ziana (Which I DON'T recommend because you have the chance of getting keratosis pilaris due to its ingredients after prolonged usa
  6. I AM DESPERATE.. BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THIS CONDITION FOR 4 MONTHS... IVE BEEN ON TRETINOIN LAST OCTOBER 2017 ..STOPPED THIS JANUARY. MY PIMPLES WERE GONE BUT MY SKIN TEXTURE IS AT ITS WORST. MY CHEEKS WERE SO RED AND SOMETIMES THEY ARE ITCHING... IT IS A LOT MORE RED IN PERSON THAN IN PICTURES.. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS THIS.
  7. Hello. I recommend you view my other post before reading this one but if not it’s all good. Before I started accutane i had pretty bad facial redness. I fully blame benzoyl peroxide, and my dermatologist. I was prescribed BP at age 12 or 13 and i’d slather that stuff on my face. It has damaged it quite a bit. Anyways i’m on my last month of accutane switching between 80 mg to 120 every other day. My acne is cleared (just a few red spots from previous acne that should go away with time) and i’m h
  8. Are these bumps on my right cheek Rosacea?? They're most red after I shower. I have mild redness on my forehead too. I blush easily but my face isn't red all the time. BTW the sides of my nose are somewhat red too, but it's not thick or anything. How do I reduce the redness? Will moisturizing with aloe vera or grapeseed oil help it? I'm 14 years old. Pleasee help ._.
  9. Hello everyone! I'm new in here and I'm just wondering how does The Regimen affect on skin with couperose? Does it get worse? Has anybody who has couperose or other normal facial redness done the regimen? What was the results? I wanna get rid of my pimple army so much and The Regimen sounds AMAZING but instead of it I totally don't want to have facial flush 24/7 the rest of my life!!
  10. [ 11:00 AM ] Hello, this is my very first blog entry and tbh I don't exactly know what to write, however I'm planning to go with the flow and try my best! As you can see from my photos, my acne/pimples on my skin aren't exactly the worst possible skin condition out there however it is pretty bad! (at least for me anyways). I tried to be really discreet with my photos so I only took sections of my face. My goal is to get my face cleared up so that it would look like the photo of my chin, o
  11. So I've been on the regimen for 6.5 months now, and I'm still struggling with redness caused by BP. I know it is not rosacea because there is a pronounced line on my jawline, and around my eyes where the skin turns red from applying BP. So I currently use only 1 pump of BP, and this is enough to help me stay clear. I also use jojoba oil. Anyone have any advise to help redness??? Should I wait less time in between applying bp and my moisturizer? ( I currently wait a strict 10 minutes ). Anythin
  12. Hi... i'm currently in the week six doing the regimen. Week 4 and week 5 my skin was very dry and with a lot of flakiness, now my skin isn't so dry and flaky anymore but, sometimes it is red and sometimes it is normal, i don't know why, yesterday my skin was OK and now it is red again, especially my chin and cheeks, it can be because of the sun? I dont usually wear sunblock because i usually don't have so much exposure in the sun, and i was wondering if it is because the way i sleep, because whe

  14. Hey everybody, I have been on Solodyn (105mg) and Retin-A micro (.1%) for about 15 weeks. I use a pea size amount of Retin-A micro on my face every night and take the Solodyn pill and use Benzaclin (5% bp with 1% clindamycin phosphate) on my face (only where I have acne) every morning. My facewash is Cerave Hydrating Cleanser For the past few weeks I have noticed redness near my hair line, next to my eye. This happened only on one side initially but then occurred on the other side once I
  15. I have mild seborrheic dermatitis, and through trial and error I've found the best way for me to control it is to use a salicylic acid cleanser every day. I'm currently about to finish my bottle of pHisoderm 2% SA gel wash... I'm not really pleased with it, so I'm not going to order another bottle. I have very sensitive skin and it has left my skin a bit irritated and red. With that being said, I would like to try a new salicylic acid facial wash. I need it to be extremely gentle. I'd like to
